Knightsbridge Residences, Century City, Makati
Just book a one month stay at the Knightsbridge Residences in Century City Makati. Its a clean modern big studio with a slamming view and balcony. I got it for 650 dollars (20 dollars a night) which seems like a good price.
Has anyone stayed at this place before? I am having some doubts about whether or not I made the right choice.
1) It doesn't have a real bed. Uses a folded out futon / sofa bed. Supposedly it is on the firmer side and not that bad. I asked someone who stayed in an identical unit and none of the reviews complained about the bed / comfort. Nonetheless, I still have my doubts. I am thinking about buying a double sized memory foam / latex topper and putting it on the sofa bed. Can I pick a decent one up for around 100 dollars? If so where?
2) There is a lot of construction going on around and on the apartment complex. Seems it will be noisy.
3) Due to the construction, the pool is only open starting at 5 pm on week days. I think I heard it will last until August / September which is around the time I am going.
4) Area is probably a little too upscale for my tastes.
There is Century City Mall and A Venue mall within a short walking distance. Seems it will take about 25 minutes to walk to Greenbelt / Ayala. Burgos St. Is a few blocks over. Although I will not be taking any girls from there, but might be fun to go walk around before or after a night out and see what happens.
I am hoping there is another entrance to this place. I feel uncomfortable walking into and past the lobby every night around 2-4 am with a different girl esp if its girls at the front desk.
Fuck, 3 more months of work until heaven.
