Agreed. But in the meanwhile, it would be interesting to read this information here first. Moreover, things can quickly change at a given venue (management, staff, girls, etc.), so, average values might not reflect the current situation in said establishment. Within a forum thread, readers can have a good idea of recent changes and it's still possible to use the advanced search function to find previous reviews about one specific place. It would also be easier with better structured reports, of course.

You could calculate averages for each month, year, etc. So you could show:

Avg Service Rating April 2011
Baccara 7.2
Tilac 6.8
etc.

Would allow you to compare the current situation to the past pretty easily.

It's a short time calculator based on many criteria (including the bar location). But there are also various bar reviews and ratings on the same website. It would be better with monthly summary tables, of course, but that's already interesting, IMHO.

If you've read my previous answer attentively, you already know that it was not my point, but to put things in perspective again, I'm going to mention girls working in the cheap brothels catering mostly to locals in Northeastern Thailand (but the figures are probably not much different for the streetwalkers of the Chinatown district in Bangkok).

In many brothels of Northeastern Thailand, a Farang customer is charged 300 bath for a ST session on premises (often, it's even less than that for the Thais), and usually, about half of the amount paid by the customer goes to the chosen girl (that's about 125 or 150 baht in most cases). And there is no shortage of local girls willing to work in those establishments, because they can earn much more than the national average wage there...

Therefore, it's almost impossible to be a real "cheap Charlie" in this country. If you agree on price and services to be provided beforehand, and later pay the agreed fee, then, you never underpay, even if the agreed amount is relatively low. And in tourist-oriented venues, it is usually much higher than what the girl would earn in a local brothel (for instance). Last night decided to switch it up from my usual Soi Cowboy and Nana run and go over to patpong. It has been a while but it seems like there way more vendors clogging up the street.
