Report for nervous newbies
This is not going to interest any of the experienced mongerers out there and its not going to cover any new ground. This is basically all the information I wish I knew about Hotel massages, Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza and the Soapy Massages before I went to Bangkok for the first time. If you are a newbie and a little nervous and self-conscious about the P4P scene then this is for you!
First, it's worth mentioning that I completely support all the claims that Bangkok is a P4P paradise. However, I am not an experienced mongerer in Bangkok. In fact, I've only visited Soi Cowboy and the area around Nana Plaza.
Firstly, about me to add some context, I appreciate discretion and am far too self conscious to rock up at my hotel with a pro in tow or negotiate with a girl in front of some gawking tourists that just want to see and not touch. I also like to make my choices without hassle. Lastly, and this is going to make me sound lame, I'm not a big fan of the late nights. In honesty I love daytime P4P.
The problem with Bangkok at first glance is that it can be a little in your face and the sex scene can seem to be very public. If you're new to the whole scene and worried about what to expect or how to act then it can be a little concerning. However, Bangkok caters for everyone. Everyone!
So here is my advice and observations.
HOTEL MASSAGES.
After taking your baggage to your room the porter is likely to ask if you want a masseuse sent up later. Say no to this, unless you particularly want an in-room massage. Otherwise you're going to end up paying too much for a happy ending from an average looking, fully clothed lady when you could be having a great time with a young asian girl nearby for far more reasonable prices. Plus you can get a better massage for less elsewhere if your concerned about the massage itself. However, keep in mind that you are in your underwear and Thai massages involve front and back. You've just landed in Bangkok so you're going to be pumped and when your masseues starts massaging your quads she is definitely going to notice your excitement. So if you're not after a happy ending you're probably just going to have a bit of embarassment instead. Maybe ask for back only if this is a concern =)
SOI COWBOY.
Soi Cowboy is a small street full of bars and is packed with standard tourists and mongerers alike therefore it can be a little embarrasing for the more self conscious. Plus, I'm not 100% on this as I never paid for a girl there, but I think it caters more for the take home variety. With Nana Plaza so close, I wouldn't recommend Soi Cowboy unless you want to dance and party with your girl before any action.
NANA PLAZA.
Nana Plaza seems far more sex orientated. During the day it's dead and you won't find any action. This is a night time spot and if you want to avoid the non-mongering tourists that just want to point and laugh then the later the better. Plus, go inside the Nana Plaza (like a three storeyed mini mall) , the outer streets have girls but also far more non-mongering tourists. A strong warning is that you are going to get hassled. Girls will grab you, link arms with you, the whole deal. They are very sweet and friendly about it, but if you have trouble rejecting girls (even if they are pros) then you're going to need to be firm from the outset. Be ready for this. Don't think too much about the bar. Just pick one and enter. If you don't like it you can always leave. If you linger outside a bar you're no doubt going to get mobbed by willing girls. Find a bar, get a drink and try to be dismissive until you lay eyes on a girl you like. If you like asian girls then it shouldn't take long. They will ask you to buy them a drink. It's worth asking how much that drink will cost you, for peace of mind and to show you know what you're doing. Hopefully that way you'll get offered a better price. It is not uncommon for another girl to approach and ask you to buy her a drink also. Unless you are interested in two girls then politely decline. If you are interested in two girls, then I'm not sure of how that works or costs etc. After the formalities and small talk your girl will suggest the further activities. You don't need to take them back to your hotel, there are hourly hotel rooms in the plaza. Keep in mind you'll have to pay three things: the girl, the bar fine for taking her and the hotel rate. The hotel is cheap and not worth worrying about. The girl and the bar fine shouldn't take you above US$100 for an hour. Cheaper definitely exists. Much cheaper also exists but you're going to compromise somewhere and you're going to have to negotiate. More expensive possibly exists also, depending on what you're after. Talking time, from my experience, unlike brothels the hour you get is an actual hour and not a matter of when you cum your done. However, to save any uncomfortable arguments later, establish this early on.
If you're worried about ending up with a ladyboy. Don't be. They have there own bars in the Nana Plaza and it's very very unlikely you'll end up in one of these without realising. Plus, if there are ladyboys in the other bars they will make you aware of the fact.
SOAPY MASSAGE.
I only visited Annie's right near Nana Plaza and needed to look no further. This place is fantastic. Look up "soapy massage Bangkok" in google and you'll find its website with prices and the address. I recommend this place. There are possibly better ones out there but I can tell you this one will satisfy. I was unsure about the experience when I first went so here are some points you may be worried about.
(1) How do I choose? When you enter the mistress will greet you and sit you down in a chair where you have a view through two glass walls into seperate rooms. One for the standard price girls and another for the more expensive. They all sit there on display (like they are posing for a school photo). The only bad thing about this is that they are sitting and you don't get to see the ass or much of the waist.
(2) Are there may girls during the day? YES. I went about midday and there were about twenty (10 standard. 10 more expensive). And there will definitely be at least one or two that interests you. Surely!
(3) How many times can I cum? As many as you can manage in the two hour period.
(4) What was the experience like? Excellent. The girl I chose was gorgeous, young, sweet and giggly. She'll start you off in the bath and slide all over you and stick her girly parts in your face. Then basically its sex, sex, sex however you want it. Thai girls are eager to please, my girl actually pumped the air with a celebratory "yes!" when I finally came after the third time. OTHER THINGS TO BE CAREFUL OF. If a guy approaches you on the street with something along the lines of "you are very lucky, do you want to know why?" he is going to scam you with a magic trick to show you are lucky and take your money. They are very good and if you go along with it out of curiousity you'll probably agree to something you'll regret. Ignore them or freak them out by licking them on the cheek and telling them they're your soul mate.
Taxi drivers will tell you they can take you to a fantastic soapy massage place (the only decent one) , despite the fact that Annie's is just round the corner. Don't get sucked in. You don't need a taxi driver to find sex in Bangkok. And surprise suprise, the one that you don't need a taxi driver to get to is suddenly "terrible".
Tuk Tuk drivers will offer you cheap tours of the city. Once again, don't get sucked in. That tour might be cheap but it will involve numerous stops at jewellery stores and tailors to "just look, just look, no buy". True, you don't need to buy, but you will need to reject pushy sales persons, which is not much fun.

Back to Eden after 2 years
