Hello all,
I'm planning a trip to BKK and I've been reading the posts but there's one thing that I'm not clear on. If you go to a massage place like Mango and you pay 400 for an hour, does that include any sex or is that just for the room? If it's just for the room, how much does sex cost?
Thanks
The cost for the room is 400/1hr. 600/1. 5hr. 800/2hr. You pay this before you go upstairs. The tip for sex is 500 / HJ. 1000 / BJ. 1500 / Full Service. Pay the tip directly to the girl after you are done. Check out Mango / Snow White / Tulip they are all well reviewed. Tell the IMP you want the "special massage" and they will know what you want.

Thanks
All the most reviewed places on here like Mango and Snow White are pretty much fixed price. 1500baht for sex on top of whatever you paid for the room.
My visit to Snow White last year we never even discussed price. When we were finished, we walked to the cashier and she just added 1500 to the room fee and I paid everything at once. Then I slipped a tip to the girl. I really like that system as I find negotiating can sometimes be a mood killer. Not all places do it like this, though. Technically you're paying the massage parlor for the room and you negotiate extras with the girl seperately.
The soapies have more variable prices which you will discuss with the mamasan beforehand.
Darn! Just realize my question was posted in the photo gallery by mistake.
I have an interesting observation. How come in the Manila forum there aren't any super rich mongers who don't give a damn how much they're overpaying? This atitude must be unique to BKK.

Spaceman
Very intelligent question. Is this the level of sophistication we should expect if browsing the Manila forum? If that is, I think I'll pass then, probably too smart for my small brain.

SunLover
Thanks all for your replies. All clear now.
She did call the morning of my last day. I took her out for a lovely BBQ lunch. It was a bit awkward because we could hardly communicate. Since I was flying out that night I wanted to spend the rest of my day with an annies girl. So I made up a story, left the accountant standing in the pouring rain outside Sukhumvit Plaza, holding her umbrella over me whist packing me off into a cab. This was our final goodbye. Sad, but had to do it. Such is the life of a monger
Words of wisdom! Our's an hard life!
The soapies have more variable prices which you will discuss with the mamasan beforehand.
And as an advice to the guy asking the original question, he has to know that in a soapie, apart the price one pays (time and number of girls) , the given price include ALL (often multi-pops) as well as the standard service.
So there is not much of a price list as such for separate HJ / BJ / FS.
If one is after an easy HJ and a bit of massage, the MP is probably the best (and cheapest) option: room / massage cost + the service tip (I prefer to call it fee) of 500/100/1500 as previously stated.
Whereas the soapie is really a full treat and entertainment usually inclduing a starting BJ in the tub, followed by the rest. Usually lasts 1. 5/2hr and in a way good value for the money paid.
On top of all, girls will not reject what can be a (real) tip, ie as thank you for some great service, in the area of 100- 2/300 TB. But I read of people tipping more. Not strictly necessary, but each one can decide to do what he watns to do of his money (and let's not start again the tipping discussions!)
Is Tilac (the name of the bar) the same word as what is usually Anglicized as "teeruk" (Thai for darling / sweetheart)? I know the bar is pronounced like "tee-lock" by Thais but not sure how "teeruk" is pronounced.
Yes, it is. As you know, 'R' and 'L' are pretty much interchangeable. So you can write the word as anything from 'tillac' to 'teerac' to 'teeruk', etc.
Can anyone give me the definitive answer on the status of Wild Country in Washington Square. I have read conflicting reports in other forums. Some suggest it is no longer open as Washington Square is being demolished to make space for some hotel or something such as that. Others report that it is still open and going as strong as ever. I've been in BKK many times but have never been to Wild Country and would like to check it out when I'm there again in about a month.
Thanks for the help.
I did not find a reply to his question.
Anybody know if this is still open?
Will go tonight if it is. . .

What are the options for after hours - after Nana and Cowboy closed?
So far on this trip I've tried Bossy, Spicy and Shock 39. All crowded, noisy, dark. Unless you are pissed drunk, not good. You can barely see who you are talking to.
Anything better? There are so many guys looking for something in those clubs, it seems very strange that no MP or whatever other venue would cater to them in some way...
