Went to a few bars in NEP, but was quickly bored.

Pretty Lady was suggested by Lone Punter but its gone now.

Lollipop had questionable type of girls (if you get my drift), Red Lips girls were old), etc.

Many bars had few pretty girls. Rainbow still has a good line-up and Angel Witch has good shows but not excessively raunchy.

Decide I was better off in Suzie Wong at Cowboy.

Got there in time for the 10PM shows. Now these are not the ugly dumb shows like at Patpong. These are both beautiful and very erotically raunchy. Some good looking girls explicitly lick each others pussies. You can get real close at the bar and defy your dicks to stay down when you see this show. unless you have had too much to drink.

I am travelling to BKK in 2 weeks and was wondering if any of the Nana bars are offering nude dancing, is angelwitch the only one doing this and what are selection of girls like. Why wouldn't you have time for Soi Cowboy? Its only 10 minutes walk from Nana. But the right time for naked girls is 10PM at Suzi Wong. Is that after your bed-time or are you only in Bangkok a few hours? Long Gun is popular but I find the shows inferior and closer to Patpong style. Patong has more nudie dancing but has the ugly shows as well, so I'm not so keen.

In Nana, Angel Witch is always worthwhile but nudity light on I think.

I would avoid Soi Cowboy as the majority of bars are infested with LB’s.

There are almost as many LB’s as girls at the moment.

Hopefully the new military rulers will change the name of the street from Soi Cowboy to Soi Ladyboy, which is what it deserves.

My 1 time visit for 1 week may not qualify me to be an expert, but at least for the Soi Cowboys GoGo's this is obviously not the case. Due to the more nude shows it is in addition also not so difficult to spot (yes I know that there is also an optional operation possible) and I don't think that the gogos will hire such 'girls'. My 2 GoGo picks I proved myself during the course as I still know from school (and long years practice) about the biological contruction inside females pussy.

For the bars surrounding the GoGo's I cant comment regarding LB danger and density.

But I don't know of any that are this way in Soi Cowboy yet having only been to a few of the good ones. So Soi Cowboy is looking good to me these days.

Never had a problem grabbing up to 20000 baht from a machine. I'd check with your bank what your limit of daily withdrawls is. That might be the answer.

That's true, but the machines have a limit on the NUMBER of notes they can deliver. There is a thickness maximum that will fit thru the output slot - and even with 1000B notes it gets there quickly. As for me, with the B now at 37something/$ and my maximum withdrawl is $500/day, I can "only" get 18000 or so. When the machines get "empty" more or less, they start outputting 500B then 100B notes (thick stack - the note size depends on the ATM and the bank - I've found that Thai Farmer's Bank tends to have the "smaller" notes readily available - even if you don't "want" them)

There are definitely Short Time rooms in NEP on the 3rd floor. I wouldn't call it a hotel. When coming in from the street and take the first staircase to the left to the 3rd sloor, you'll find it. GoGo girls like it because it saves the travel time (read: more time to scoop more farangs). I've used it several times. It's clean and I think the rate is 300 baht. The only drawback is when it's late, sometimes you have to wait for a room.

If you can’t spot the tons of LB’s in Soy Ladyboy you either are blind or simply don’t know yet how to tell them apart.

I went last week and I was surprised at how many of them there were (hadn’t been there since last year), I did just one visit but spent about 3 hours in about 6-7 different go-go’s and all of them had LB’s, some just 3-4 but others loads of them. Some go-go’s I skipped them straightaway because they even had LB’s at the door, along with girls, trying to attract customers.

Quite a few were of the type that can perfectly pass for a girl for newbies, not the obvious ones, and I suppose many of them will be post-op given that they are working in go-go’s where traditionally guys go in search of girls, so I am sure many guys are fucking these post-op LB’s without even knowing it.

I don’t give a shit for what other guys do, to each his own, I’m just trying to give a warning: buyer beware if you go shopping to Soi Ladyboy!

And list all the well known tell tale signs to look for.

O.K. Ladyboys are everywhere in Thailand but cannot think they are more prevalent in Soi Cowboy than at Nana or Patpong. I also remember plenty of them in Phuket. So warnings could well apply to all major bar areas.

However some GOOD bars have a policy of of no Ladyboys.

Suzie Wong has only one (the mamasan). There are strict standards on selection of the girls. Don't recall seeing them at Long Gun or Baccarat either.

I have enough experience to spot most ladyboys easily but would never be arrogant enough to say I can spot 100%. So like everyone, I must always be on the lookout for them. Unfortunately some people get so paranoid that they start asking the real girls if they are ladyboys as well.

BTW, Many LBs are OK for a conversation. Its just that I'm a straight guy when it comes to sex.

I remember a Uni Student free lancer taking me to somewhere just up Soi 4 further (must have been too late for Nana Plaza).

Soi Cowboy has a ST "Hotel" at the Asoke end and Patpong has at least 2 places from memory.

So there is usually somewhere available for ST quickies and usually the P4P girls know them so punters don't eed to be experts.

However have been to the odd ones where the room stink is too bad to be bearable. Hard to understand how these keep going, but clearly some peoples noses are not too sensitive or lust overcomes everything.

Why do I resort to ST rooms? Sometimes its mostly to save time, sometimes
