I think they just didn't pay the person they were supposed to and the heat is on them. I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding and once the money gets to whoever it should, all be OK. (It's obvious that it's a gimmick, the ministry/goverment interfere with a website of a business in DR !? They would just shut down the business, we are not talking about a pornsite they don't have access to physically...)

Were you satisfied with the beauty/service of the girls? Did you take any photos which you can share here? I know the Vikings website has photos of the girls but these may be re-touched, etc. Member photos generally give a more realistic perspective of the girls.

I have spoken to 5 different girls (two as recently as today) and they all have said that things are ok. There was some tension for a while but that things have eased a bit. There is a Bikini Contest today. I would imagine that like all things this to shall pass. It is my gut feeling (and unconfirmed reports) that the article in the paper was fueled by an former "employee" that was dismissed. She was quoted in one of the earlier articles. The BB's web site (in my opinion) perhaps crossed the line (a little) as far as how open they were about the "experience" you would have. Perhaps there needed to be a little more seperation between the "Hotel" and the "Services" provided. I still have a 9 day trip in Novmeber and have no thoughts about changing my plans.

Thanks.[/QUOTE]I don't generally post photos, as I don't have the girls' permission to do so. I will say that the photos on the website are obviously professional. This is not unusual -- about 50% of the girls I have met in or from Ukraine are "models" and have professional photo portfolios. Generally Viking has only 9/10 girls as far as looks go. It's unlikely you will disappointed in that regard. However, as I stated in my report, the service from the girls has gone downhill drastically, at least in my personal experience.

I figured it was something like that, but this was going to be my first time there, and its never fun to see developments like that when when you don't know the place. Like Sarma567, I've decided to hold onto my reservations at BBs and check it out. I will post a report once I'm back. (Least I can do to repay the favor!)

Okay, so, I was originally planning on spending 4 days at BB's following a 13 day trip to Panama City, Panama. However, those damn Colombianas drained both my juices and my finances, so, I had to shorten my stay to 2 days. Arriving on Saturday, just in time for the Bikini competition. OK, here goes. I've read several posts on this forum about the quality of the chicas at BBs. I did not really want to start a big debate about the relative merits of BBs, Puerto Plata in general, vs Sosua, Sto Domingo, etc. But several posters have expressed the opinion that a good portion of the chicas who hang out there are somewhat sub-standard. (However, most also agreed that there are always a few very nice ones too.) I've been checking out the bikini pix for a few years now, and I have to day that more than half of the women in the pix at any given time I would have NO problem spending some quality time with (in principle, based solely on the pix, which is admittedly insufficient basis to go on). Now, maybe at my age, my standards have dropped somewhat. I guess my basic question is this: are the girls that they (used to) post on the site the better looking ones (I. E. The ones that enter the contest), so this is not representative? Hell, I'll be there in 2 weeks in any case, unless the place burns down, so I'll find out for myself. Participation in the contests is mandatory for all the girls, who alternate whihc contests they have to take part in.
The photos are pretty representative of the overall standard there. They show the hotter ones as well as the so-so's.
Some girls object and do NOT want their photos posted forever on the internet, as they are concerned about family or their children finding out what they to do put food on the table, etc.
Like anywhere, there is fairly good distribution of looks from low to high, but what I have found most attractive is their attitude.
They are usually (with occasional exceptions) very sweet and treat their "temporary boyfriend" very well.

I read a lot of good stuff about BB and how the guys nicely behave to each other, talk and exchange past experiences. I am however curious to know how things are handled after these bikini/lingerie contests. At what moment do you make a move, is there suddenly some kind of competition among the guys to pick #4, #8 or whatever. I'll be there next month for a few days and I guess it's a nice start to discover DR.
