The airport train is good if you don't have large luggage, the train station and bts station is a bit of a walk with alot of luggage no elavator you need to walk many stair go across the st to the Phaya thai BTS station and the airport bus take too long, the best way is still taxi if you have large luggage.

It does indeed depend on many factors, the most important being how often you get sex with the GF. Forget about nights altogether, but think on a per sex session basis. If you have to support GF and her child's education and potentially other members of her family, paying the rent, the bills, etc. Could easily cost you 1K per day. I know this sounds a lot but you try buying a trolley load of stuff in the supermarket these days. Could be 2K quite easily.

1K per day is a good deal if you get sex everyday, but most don't. She maybe has a very long menstruation period, ruling out several days, and anyway guys like myself are not even in Thailand all of the time.

Therefore supporting a Thai girl (plus others in the family) becomes very uneconomical.

For me, its far cheaper, just to P4P, whether long time or short.

As Goaye points out, entertaining costs for dating girls can be significant too. A guaranteed screw is the better option.

It was never about financially taking care of a girlfriend's family (I know many farang get caught up in this but in my mind people who support Thai women and their families are complete idiots. The people who gave life to me are self-sufficient and I do not have to support them so why in the hell would I do it for someone that not only I hardly know, but more than likely does not even speak my same language). It was simply about dating a non-pro. In which case the couple would simply take in a movie, go to the beach, go to lunch, go to a concert every now and then, go to a park, or sit home and watch TV and eat microwave popcorn. It was not about wining and dining, buying expensive gifts, or foolishly handing over your life savings.

I was only responding to a recent one. I agree its not a good idea to support Thai girls and their families. Its a crazy one, but it happens often, sometimes if the Knight in White armour saves the girl from P4P industry, where she was previously supporting several family members.

Someone mentioned a real GF rather than just someone you are dating. To me having a long term GF is not the same as just dating someone. I'm curious. How old are you and how old are those girls that you are dating and who agree to have sex with you on the first (or even the second) date? Where do you meet them? What is their occupation? How good is their English? How good is your Thai? Do they have children?

I'm asking all these questions because in my own experience, most "normal women" in Thailand do not speak much English (and the average foreigner doesn't speak enough Thai for dating a "normal" local girl). Most "normal" Thai women don't want to have an NSA (No Strings Attached) relationship, especially with a foreigner, unless you are both very young, maybe. The "normal" women who have sex so easily with foreigners are usually those who are not attractive anymore for the local men.

Sex with a GF can be good enough to want it often. However, with permanent GF normal relationships, it takes both parties wanting to fuck, for it to happen. You are not entitled sex anytime you want. P4P is where you get to fuck, regardless. With a Gik, there may be the understanding that each meeting is for sex.

Most normal Thai girls don't want sex when they have a period, even though it wouldn't bother me. Its considered dirty by Thai culture.
