I agree with Ron, enjoy yourself. I didn't run through many girls on my last trip but I was fortunate to have a play and no pay situation with two. I spent several hours during the day with Thali.

I would just give up on the escort services. Yes, you can have a satisfactory experience, but it is the lowest odds "game" in town. Rio just isn't a city for it. Sao Paulo; Yes, Yes, Yes. Porto Alegre; Yes, too. Just not Rio.

Go to the termas, or even Help. "Interview" them, and see if you can work out a visit to the hotel. Many of the girls can work it into their schedule. But you have to make it worth their time. If they don't go to the Terma, they loose about 300R. The only time that is acceptable is when you see that price on your tab at the end of a night at a Terma. And when you take a chick from a Terma, you have to understand that she knows you're paying around R280 or whatever for the night, but she's only getting R100 or so for the encounter.

To me, you have to start negotiations at R100. At least I did. I NEVER, repeat, never ever pay more than R150 for anything in Rio. It's just my policy. Guys are really ruining the market and yes, I've been very pleased with chicks from Karla and Scortshow. You just have to be willing to send her away if she's not acting right. Again, not a flame and not to be a jerk or anything, but agencies, help (less so help though), casas and termas are all great if you know what you are doing.

This is my fourth 1-week trip to Rio in 2 years. I have found the quality of Termas girls to be, *on average*, far superior than other sources. The difference gets even more significant when you get better at playing the Termas scene since there you have the opportunity to inspect your merchandise on the spot.

For 1-week trips, given the money spent on air and hotel, I find it absolutely worth it to pay the extra for going to Termas. If I came here for longer and/or more frequent trips, I´d go more for the Help / independents scene. Can you find an escort / Help / independent girl who looks, sucks and fucks as well as a Termas girl? Sure, you just have to look harder. More importantly - and this is a real trade-off for shorter trips - you have to be willing to put up with some average / bad experiences. Agree that you start the negotiations at R$100 and not pay more than 150 anywhere other than a Terma.

Balcony is a bar that is open 24hrs. Closer to Ave Pincess Isabela. It is active from about 8PM for all night. Never been in the strip club next door, but have heard it is a dive. I like Balcony because on the inside you can meet people and talk to them easier than MP or TA.
