My comments about some poor Thai people being greedy, come from a hard working Thai chef who studies the Thai news avidly and daily, and also knows the Thai people very well. I am not knowledgeable myself but get info from Thais who know a lot more. I don't feel special contempt for lazy Thais. I am not extremely hard working myself. BTW their are lazy people in many countries who want free handouts from the government. That's where a lot of my taxes go.
I have a lot of sympathy for hard working Thais that work long hours and earn very little. I am from a lucky country.
BTW, some Thais were getting a nice handout by receiving cash to go join the Red blockade. Bad luck when they got sick but were not permitted to leave. There are always some people we can feel contempt for. That is very normal.
