As reported elsewhere L'Uomo has done this for a long time. Newcomers to MC usually have the rules of the house spelt out to them on entry. I cannot recall them verbatim but I think it is R$40 for a standard room for 40 minutes. They used to insist that the girls fees were paid in cash, the room, entry and bar bill could be paid with a credit card. However they have changed this to allow the whole bill to be paid by card with an additional fee. I can't recall what the fee is, I always pay cash. They do not charge two room fees for two girls.
Unless their policy has changed recently, this is incorrect. L'uomo certainly does charge two room fees for two girls; at least they did with me. According to Jesuscola (see post #1407 below), who should know, since he gets kickbacks for bringing girls to L'uomo, charging two room fees for two girls is a standard practice that he staunchly defends.

All of the major termas pay commissions--except 4x4. I also get commissions from Solarium, Monte Carlo, 65 and Centaurus. If you can find a single person to whom I have wholeheartedly recommended Centaurus, I will give you every real I have collected from them in the past year. (Hint: It wouldn't be enough to buy a happy meal.) Further, whatever I collect in commissions usually goes right back to the house in the form of drinks bought for the girls. If he were to reflect for a moment, the birdie whispering in your ear could probably confirm this. When I am out, I like to see the girls having a good time, and 20 or 40 reals is not exactly a windfall.
More to the point, I believe if you read closely, you'll see that our friend was talking about "MC" and contrasting that with L'uomo. He wasn't disagreeing, merely adding information.

No where in the post did I say that L'Uomo doesn't charge two room fees. Most regular mongers are aware of this and it has been the subject of quite a few posts. I was merely pointing out that a lot of Termas' charge room fees but I believe L'Uomo is unique in charging two fees for one room. If you don't want to pay it don't do duplas in L'Uomo, very simple. I am not sure what their charging policy is if you book a suite with two girls. Perhaps a more regular customer can enlighten us.
And ever since they arrived, Copa has been absolutely dead!! So many of the girls have told me they wont return until the Hells Angels leave. I guess the fact that two girls got punched out on two separate nights in Help didnt do anything to change the gdp's opinions of them.
That might be why the cops were at Meia Pataca Friday morning questioning guys, expecially Angels.
I stayed away, of course.
Yes, Copa has been dead!

Sorry, I misread your original post and thought you were referring to L'uomo. L'uomo's policy if you book a suite with two girls is to charge you twice for the suite, which they do not advise you of in advance, and twice for the girls, which of course is quite appropriate. So you're right; don't do duplas at L'uomo. (Duh--I kinda figgered that out fer myself.)

Now I am very curious, how did you negotiate commissions with every major Termas and why, as you say the money is not important?
And ....how do you find your clients? Do you hang around hotels, bars or what?

Yes. In fishnets and pumps.
I didn't negotiate anything. The infrastructure was always there. It was virtually automatic, given my position and introductions. These days it's actually pretty rare to catch me near a termas.
Virtually all of us value our anonymity here. I no less than others.

Now I am even more curious, from what you have said you are either a taxi driver, or a professional pimp. You have already said enough that you cannot claim the 5th at this stage. So please tell us what exactly gives you your ~position and introductions~
Seriously I can only imagine you hanging around hotels and bars, and I think people should know about you! I don`t think you can claim the anonymity of the normal monger.

Hahahaha! Of course I can.
Tell you what, if you're ever in BA 85 and you see a tall guy with a short cut mohawk and a tattoo that says "100% Safado," walk up and say the magic words, "Julie Andrews," and I'll buy you a beer and answer some of your questions. ;o)

Julie, you are certainly someone I will avoid on my next trip to Rio. I am impressed how an american pimp, albeit behind his gay alter ego, can survive for so long in Rio. Parabens!!

strange
Today I tried to access gpguia.net and everytime the server would get really slow and then i would get a connection error.
I am in Rio and had no problem until today. Also, when I reconnect, regular yahoo (my homepage) comes up rather than yahoo brasil, which should be coming up (and usually does).
THIS IS STRANGE!
Ok. I just tried again and am 100% sure that I am being BLOCKED while in RIO!
this is not strange but scary!
