Actually I do not quite agree. I have excellent experiences with scort show and Karla escort in Rio. They have a book with all photos of over 25 girls. Some of them, say 20% are real good looking too. It is all a matter if price performance ratio perhaps, but I have had great times with girls from those escorts. The price is excellent and performance usually is good to very good. I pay R100 for 2 hours of service plus some R30 for taxi. For that they come to my own hotel or apartment.

So that boils down to less than 70 R$ per hour. I did visit some termas, and the girls are sometimes great. But the prices are high and you can only stay with them for 40-60 minutes in a small cabin, usually. So I don't think escorts in Rio are bad at all. I can not compare them to SP, because I have not been there yet.

yeah, the quality varies immensely. one of the reasons i choose to stay at this end of copa (isabel), is that places like balcony, mabs, noguiera and prado jnr are all good hunting grounds but hardly worth a special trip to me as there is the chance of being disappointed as well as thrilled to bits. they are doorstep so it is easy to pop in for a look. helpee, luomo, on the other hand, are a special trip anyway. you largely know what you are going to get before you spend the time/fare getting there. so no need to live next door.

Actually, these are from Jan-early Feb (2006). I think she went back to Sao Paulo, soon thereafter. I did meet up with her again in Rio last October. Her mom is in Sao Paulo so she goes there quite often, then returns to Rio.

The strip club, boate, next to Balcony is a big rip off. Buy the girls at balcony and makje your own strip party in your apartment. I have seen and heard many arguments with men leaving this strip club.

I am familiar with Karla's. I took a cab out to Tijuca a couple trips ago. I met one of the gals (she came out to the car) and she showed me the book.

Places like la ciccolina, franks american bar, etc. As we enter there once you can really smell rip off all over the place. One time we were there me and my buddy just had one beer each to see and have a feel of the place and we finished our drinks in no time. Then when were paying, our bill only came to 14 reais and we gave the guy 50reais, it took him forever to give the change back. It is an old trick thinking we were just going to leave. And when he ask if he can keep the change, I just laugh. So if you guys decided to venture around that area, just be careful. In fact I don't really see the point on why would someone would like to venture around those strip clubs. I guess if you are a newbie in the Rio scene. But if you know your in's and out of Rio nothing really beats centro walk ups. Well elevators I guess.
