There actually isn't a free shuttle between terminals in Austin. You can take a taxi for $25! (up to 4 people) or $10 each for Supershuttle from the main terminal to the South Terminal that has vivaAerobus.

Although the South Terminal is just on the other side of the runways from the main terminal, the drive outside the airport is several miles. The terminal has its own parking and car rental.

It is definitely worth going through Austin if you live in Central Texas. Vivaaerobus's rates are about $200 round trip when all of the fees and taxes are put in. It is still much cheaper and much more convenient than you can find most of the time from San Antonio (Mexicana discontinued the SAT-MTY nonstop flight in April) and Dallas. American from DFW no longer has really cheap fares to MTY (or other Mexican cities). You can sometimes get good deals to MTY on Continental or Aviacsa.

The key to getting a good rate on vivaAerobus is to buy 5 or 6 weeks in the future when the "1 peso" or "10 peso" fares are around. But there are about $75 in fees each way. The highest fare I've seen to Monterrey is 550 pesos then the $75+ in fees (some of the fees are based on a percentage of the fare). Like many airlines, if you check luggage, it costs more. And they charge for everything. They also have an email newsletter with its fare sales on it (Mine comes in Spanish, and about 90% of the offers are for flights from Monterrey to other Mexican cities) but sometimes the Austin flight comes up.

The other negative is the flight from MTY to Austin leaves Monterrey really early in the morning (it leaves at 6:50am). The good part of that is it gets to Austin by about 8am so you can go straight to work from the plane and catch up on sleep at the office. :)

Don't forget to buy insurance. I always purchased mine prior to arrival from AAA. Something like $20/day back in the early to mid 2000's. If you get into an accident here without it, you will probably go to jail until you can post resititution.

Qualitas tried to sell me a one year policy for $800.00 when I first arrived here in June. Fortunately, I had saved my policies from last year as well as the prior year and presented both of the them in which a new special rate($275.00 same as last year) was serendipitously offered to me as I was re-categorized as a renewal.

I need a recent report on where to go and what to do in Monterey. More specifically if there is a place similar to HDR in Costa Rica. Also, any location where there seems to be Colombian women.

I am a first time visitor to Monterey. Need to know where to go and what to do. Is there a HRD type of hotel in Monterey? Is there anywhere there seems to be a lot of Colombian women?

Oso Grande, Monterrey is no where close to Colombia in all senses and the city is not structured as Costa Rica and Colombia as in catering business in favor of international mongers.
Yes, sorry to tell you, you will not find Colombian girls, you will not find as a matter of fact girls from SA except maybe at the 5 star clubs and charging gold for their services.
You will only find Mexican girls.

And no sir. Monterrey is an expensive city. An almost 4 million people city way above in prices to Central American countries.

There are many strip clubs and many massage parlors on all price levels, to be found all over the downtown area, but none focused to tourism, but to local folk.
Although you must have gathered by now that Monterrey will welcome Americans with open arms and Iam not kidding on this.

There are no bars where you can get pros and take them to hotels.
Almost everything is done in-call at the clubs.
You must pay a barfine plus the girls fee if you want to do something with them.
Starting price here is 130 dlls for a 1 -1.5 hour outing and then the girl must go back.
After this, prices jump to 200 dlls and up.
There are even clubs where the girls will not be allowed to leave with a customer. They are even punished if they find out that the girl is making money on the side.

All nighters are almost nil in Monterrey. Girls make more money within the clubs than going out with customers.
( I will give you an example: am writing this just in from my regular club rounds, 2:00 am local time... I spent 40 dlls at the Harem club buying drinks to a girl, a couple of booth dances, my drinks and no sex. And that was cheap for me)

Oso Grande, start budgeting high.
An in-club outing will cost you on the average a low price of 50 dlls at El Infinito going way up into 400 dlls at 5 star clubs like Amnesia and Premiere, with Harem, Pasarelas, Casino and Poisson in the middle.

Thanks for the info. I frequent Costa Rica and know that several of the Colombian ladies have left HDR for Monterey. I am looking for one in particular her name is Johana. If you run across her I would appreciate a heads up. The girls in Costa Rica are not doing as well as in the past and are looking for more fertile ground.

Al, you guessed right.

Plus SM and MC are terms we use here in Monterrey.
SM is "Sala de Masaje"
MC is "Men's Club.

Al, you need to tell me what do you want to pay.
Prices strt at 150 pesos at the always excelent Signore, going up to 2000 pesos at Misses, via Horoscope (350), Versace (600), Marcella (800) and Romanos (1000).

My map should include the MP's webpages (where available) and the MP's open at 10 AM, some closing at 10 PM.

About SC's, you should try them, they close at sun-up.

For the last three months, I have visited about 25+ different MP's and tried about 10 of them. I do not advise the $10-20/hh places you see advertised in the "El Sol" newspaper. They are essentially a waste of time. My recommendations are and in no particular order:

Marcella $60/40 minutes
Misses $160-200/60 minutes
ManGho $160-200/60 minutes-Also a drinking establishment/club
Romanos $60/30;$80/40 and $100/60 minutes
Versace $90/50 minutes
Bandidas $50/60 minutes

I also frequent a private casa($110/90 minutes) that I cannot reveal as it is an invite-only(illegal) establishment. Occasionally, when I am totally hung over, I sometimes see two girls named Rrea and Tania at Signore that I do not fuck(not doable for my standards) but give great one hour tongue-baths($30/hr $30 propina) and will do bbbj with COF. Rrea in particular is a really nice girl. You may also visit Medusass($80/50 minutes) and Giza($100/60 minutes). I have yet to try these MP's but they appear to be excellent establishments.

$20 is considered a very good tip in the Monterrey MP's and you will be welcomed back on a return visit. However, tipping is not required. I only do so because I am a regular at the MP's and want excellent service. You do not need to tip at ManGho, Misses or any MP that charges over $100/hr. The propina is already priced in. Also, if the girl asks for the propina up-front, just fu_k her and leave. In my experience(three times), the sessions have been poor or barely acceptable.

I am heading to Romanos today. Maybe I'll see you there.

P.S.
Make sure you print out Amigomio's invaluable map. Circle the establishment's and give it to the taxi driver. These guys often conveniently get "lost" even though they know exactly where they are going.

If you need Viagra, Purex Farmacias has a Mexican version called Maxifort which I highly recommend. They run $19.00 for four 50mg tablets. Also, if you plan on using your credit card, call and inform them that you are here in MX. My Chase card once got rejected (fraud prevention) in Misses while I was holding my dick in my hand.

Needless to say, very embarassing. Especially when you are about to fu_k a drop-dead gorgeous, 20-year-old Latina.

The closest I have come to a Colombian chica is a Cuban girl that works at Paloma Mens Club. Her name is Miranda, 31 years-old with two kids and possesses an absolutely incredible body. She offered herself up for $100/2hour salida and claimed she does not do privados as the section lacked A/C and is uncomfortable.


If Cuban girls are your thing, she appears to be very doable.

Were I you, I would check Carlos' map for the *****houses, which are probably the closest in format to a Delrey kind of environment.

I would almost totally forget about the massage parlors and lower to medium strip clubs initially.

The higher end strip clubs have some potential if she is really HOT, and/or a very skilled saleswomen. But, there again, being a stripper, essentially a "drink seller," in one Monterrey's higher end strip clubs requires significant game beyond mere appearance, and it's a whole different kind of business than working the Delrey.

The same can be said of the medium to lower end MPs. Check the high end MPs first. Forget about wasting your time in the hotels. Monterrey does not resemble Costa Rica in anyway with respect to hotels. Matter of fact, most of the hotels strictly enforce security rules against any kind of P4P business getting even a slight foothold. Fact is, you will almost find it impossible to find any decent quality high end hotels that permit you to bring girls to your room. There may be some action in the bars around the high end motels, but even if you find her, you will not be getting in at any of the hotels that surround those bars. But, I agree that it would be, and is, like looking for a needle in a haystack in Monterrey's vast P4P industry. Consider this, even when I already know the girl, and I happed to loose track of her, it is a monumental task even finding her again. Sometimes it takes two or three months of putting significant feelers out to find them.

The Delrey, and the environment in Monterrey are very dis-similar. Pardon this crass analogy but, comparing Costa Rica to Monterrey with respect to the scope of the P4P industry is like comparing New York City to Boise, Idaho. Be prepared to confront a whole different way of playing the game compared to Costa Rica. Been there, done both. I think you would be wasting your time in the medium to low end strip clubs, high end, medium, or low end hotels, and/or the low to medium level MPs.

The truth is, after about 8 years of working the Monterrey environment on a monthly basis, Carlos is absolutely correct. I can honestly say I have NEVER encountered a girl from Columbia, or anywhere else per se. For all intents and purposes, they are almost ALL from Mexico. I am almost shocked myself at the realization that I have literally NEVER encountered a girl that came from another country other than Mexico. Of course, they do exist, but really, they are very, very, rare.
