Hey Art -
I'll be staying at LB's penthouse, arriving Friday night - gimme a holler! And anyone else who wants to get together, until I have a phone no. you can reach me through Lima Busy (Oh, he's gonna love me for that one!). Honey, I'm home!
Oh, by the way, the hairiest girls are the Cubans. They shave sometimes, but left to their own devices they're fucking chimps!

Hi I just returned a week ago from a month in Lima (only. And it might as well just been a visit to Callao haha) and the verdict is that Lima lives up to everything I had expected in the forums (and I read them all). The near 50, 000 km round trip (from Australia) was well worth it.
I was initially worried about my total lack of spanish (in Australia we have absolutely zero exposure to it, theres not a few hundred million spanish speakers next door), but this whole trip was accomplish by the use of:
Numbers 1 to 1000 (not that I used numbers over 50 much at all)
Cuanto questo?
Sin condom
District and main street names (years in scouting had given me a great sense of direction)
And knowing a few names of foods and drinks
At the end of the trip I was catching buses everywhere and exploring all sorts of places.
A little background on myself, I'm an asian in my early 30s, and in most western countries we're not given the time of day by the local chicks. But I don't like asian chicks at all, a little unfortunate with asia being only a few hours away, let alone the hundreds of thousands that live in nearly every Australian city. Oh, and I prefer larger ladies (size 14/16+) and no condoms.
Stayed the entire trip in a single (S/. 70) at Maria Luisa, Miraflores. They were doing a lot of work on the place (and made a shitload of noise), but that ensured I got out of bed and out of the hotel by 10am.
As I discovered, there are alot of cheaper places out there, but they just don't advertise on the net. Anyone advertising on the net (especially in English) was at least double the cheapest/local price. But I do recommend staying somewhere like the Maria Luisa for a week till you find another place. I found a fair few Miraflores options at S/. 40 and lower such as the Hostel Larco on Ave Larco 3 blocks from Larco Mar, let alone places away from Miraflores for as low as S/. 15. I saw billboards infront of a fair few hotels advertising jacuzzi for S/. 80, but I really couldn't be bothered moving. I had set up my room, bought a dvd player and had gotten used to my room.
I never worried about bringing a girl back, as I couldn't speak with them, nor did I want to pay a huge amount.
Mongering.
El Trocadero, El Botecito, repeat. At least every 2 days out of 3.
I was little worried about the places until I went, then after a while I felt at home haha (not that my home looks or smells like either of those places).
When I first started, I caught a taxi from Miraflores and paid between S/. 20 and S/. 25 each way, which was getting a little out of hand when I was paying the same for a root, so I worked out how to get there for S/. 3. 60 each way from Miraflores.
Its quite easy and safe. Walk to the corner of Ave Arequipa and Dos de Mayo, and catch any bus going to Callao (I'd always ask. Faucett?. To which they just should say Si) and your fine. The Bus should have on the side (usually the third last and second last roads. La Marina. Faucett). It should be about S/. 1. 80 or 2. Get off at cnr Faucett and Argentina. If its your first time, splurge on a taxi (S/. 4 or less) and get them to drive into Troc. Memorize what the street entrance to Troc looks like, so you can start catching buses the 5 or so blocks up Argentina. Return trip is even easier as theres ALWAYS buses waiting in front of Troc which leave when full. Just get in one of them, you can either take it all the way to town, or just get off at Faucett, and go back to Miraflores.
Ok. Inside.
Its not what what a normal brothel would be like. It was more like a meeting place for guys, with sluts. There are always people just talking, standing around drinking (yep you can get beer, food, and bring what you want, no searches etc). Prices for food and drink are reasonable, street prices + S/. 1 or so.
The first time you go the size of trocodero will overwhelm you the first time you go. Theres another corrodor! Theres upstairs! Theres more at the end! Theres another next door!
Girls are always smiling at you and trying to get your attention (alot of girls I went past tried to get my attention calling me "chinito" and batting their eyelids or motioning me in as I went past). Negotiations were easier than I imagined. When I saw I girl I wouldn't mind seeing, I asked 'cuanto questo', and it was always somewhere between S/. 15 and S/. 25. That was followed by 'sin condom? ' they either quoted a price, usually double their normal price or said no, or 'con condom' or something. I'd reply with double the price and they usually said yes. I usually gave a S/. 3 to S/. 5 tip which they seemed happy with. Note, I like the bigger girls so I never tried this with the spinners.
On a typical day I'd say there'd be about 100 girls at the Trocodero, with about 1/2 young, 1/2 old, and 30 of them large. S/. 15 entry, girls S/. 20-S/. 30. Botecito, 30 girls, mostly old, mostly large, was S/. 12 early in the week and S/. 15 later in the week, girls S/. 15-S/. 20. I went for the whiter looking chicks with the cute faces, and by the end had about 6 girls I'd seen more than once.
My whole trip to Callao usually cost around S/. 100-S/. 120, which was for a 2 girls and included everything including a few soft drinks.
Other places I went.
La Cucardas. Didn't see anyone. No one did bb. It was very small (20-30 rooms and only about 15 girls when I went). Plus it was full of tourists.
Le Nina. Empty. I went late after noon, it was about the same size of Botecito but there were only 4 girls working.
I went to Gamarra a few times looking the fabled La Victoria chongo but no luck.
Other thoughts. For a place with a million Chinese fusion resturants, not a full blooded asian in sight (I could count the number of asians I saw on two hands), and I saw a whole 2 in barrio chino. And I went a fair few times and went through all the little malls and markets etc. The story I heard was they all packed up and left 10 years ago. But theres alot of half asians (and probably one or two more after my visit haha).
Other than that, nights were usually filled hanging out at casinos or english pubs (such as the one at the end of pizza alley).
I can't wait to come back. I've definely got this place on my list for early retirement.
Do any other cities have similar chongos to Trocodero in Peru, or outside?

Nice report
DownUnder - great report for a 1st post. I haven't been down to Peru - yet, but I will be making a trip next year for sure. I'm also asian but from NYC and have had some friends go there and love it! I am going for about 5 days and will look to contact David_33, and hit one of Sly One's party. Did you give either of them a call? thanks for sharing that info- I will make a daytime stop at Troc for sure.

Down Under
I agree with what you said about Las Cucardas. When I went there a few years ago I was able to get the services that I wanted. The last time I went the prices went up and the service IMHO sucked. They get way too many clients in there to worry about pleasing just one person.
Everyone talks about Las Cucardas but I think it has seen better days. When you take that out of the equation you have la nene el botecito and el trocadero as your main sources of PFP on the budget end. Add chongo san jose and you had a decent amount of options. However san jose doesnt exist anymore and tequila rock blows as well.
If you are lucky enough to be here for a sly one party and have contact with david 33 then you are good to go. If not I could think of many other pfp destinations that are way better than lima.
I have never been to the saunas or high end clubs like emanuelles etc. Why travel so far and pay higher than in costa rica or the dominican republic. It just doesnt make sense.
The best way to work lima IMHO is to have a varied itinerary. Go on dates call david 33 do a sly one orgie and play around with PFP. The magic of lima is the city itself and how you manuever it. Knowing spanish is a huge plus.
I could have never kept myself busy for a month without the mix I have going on...dates pfp gringo friends etc. I have been so busy its crazy. My schedule here is more occupied than in new york.
Good job reporting.
I am planning a follow up report to my first report...coming soon.

El Trocadero
" I was initially worried about my total lack of spanish
Cuanto questo? "
I think you want Cuanto cuesta? You were asking them " How much do I cost?" which is probably why they were quoting such low figures. Joke.
" El Trocadero, El Botecito, repeat. At least every 2 days out of 3. Even with a taxi, you can go both ways, pay the entrada, get 3 girls and a beer for $35 US. Can't beat that. I would not suggest taking a bus - a least the first time or two. You should pay no more than 20s and maybe 15-18 each way. But you can't tell them where you are going. Just how much to Callao - Minka shopping center? Then when you get to the Minka area have him go the additional 2 blocks. You pay an automatic 5-10s for saying "Trocadero". But you can always take a cab for 20s or less.
" The first time you go the size of trocodero will overwhelm you the first time you go. Theres another corrodor! Theres upstairs! Theres more at the end! Theres another next door! "
This is the biggest Cat house I have ever seen as well. Not saying bigger ones don't exist. Maybe I just haven't found them. Impressive, but a little creepy as well.
" I can't wait to come back. I've definely got this place on my list for early retirement "
Tastes vary. I enjoyed this place as well, but many guys have been turned off just by visiting the Troc. One mans Heaven is another guys Hell. If you speak a little Spanish, it is amazing how sweet some of these ladies can be - despite the hardcore surroundings. But it is not for everyone . . .
" Do any other cities have similar chongos to Trocodero in Peru, or outside? "
The closest I have found is Quito Ecuador. None of the Quito chongos are as large, but there are soooo many of them. Most have 4-9 rooms with 10-50 women in the bar or other public room ready to deal for $7-$15. The bedrooms are almost always shared by all the girls - not rented out as at the Troc. And you can chongo hop easily as there are often 3 or 4 in the same area. Also a place like Club 122 in Quito has many more great looking ladies available for $8. The Troc has maybe 3-4 women out of 80 that one might consider really good looking.
Good luck. -P

As for David_33, that was a backup plan, but I had all the other things as backup plans. But one I found that troco catered for all my needs I didn't bother.
I work out that BBFS (even here in Australia) works out to be 2x the initial rate they charge. If their going to do it, 2x seems to get them interested. Now 2x S/. 20 is better than 2x S/. 100 or even 2x USD$100. The only place I feel I missed is Anaconda, since San Juan closed.
Yep which leads me to second trip, but some spanish classes first.
I think I could have got some non p2p action if I could speak. Lots of nice eye contact from the locals (well the big ones anyways).
There was one thing I didn't get: If I had half my TV channels (even if subtitled) and half of my music in another language, I'd pick up a few words, if purely by osmosis. I picked up a fair few words just hanging around a month. How could they not pick up a few words just by amount of exposure they have to English?
-
Oh there was this one row of strip clubs I got taken to one night.
I went because I went to Trocodero after it shut. I think it was in San Miguel somewhere, but it was early in my trip. It was off a round about and there was about 200 meter strip which basically went. Strip club/cheap hostal/strip club for the whole 200 meters.
That was a bit of a costly experience.
S/. 80 for the girl, S/. 100 extra for BB, and S/. 15 for the room.
After that I just remembered to get my butt to Troco before 9pm, even earlier.

Yes, go to Bogota to Calle 22 (Santa Fe). There are lots of places where you can have girls for 10 USD for short time. The big girls that you like might be even cheaper and there is also beer and shows.

There are cheap chongos in or around almost all major cities, i.e. Trujillo, Chiclayo, and Iquitos (I know these personally and there have been reports, RTTF helps. Also p resent in Ica, the cheap place in Cuzco has also been reported on. Nibu, who unfortunately no longer posts, was a chongo expert.
However, I think that the Troc is best. The San Jose in La Victoria/Gamarra is long gone. I posted about the rip-off Las Cucardas some time ago. For someone who likes large size ladies, the Troc is perfect. The spinners from Ecuador, IMHO are not as friendly as are the Peruvians, though often better looking.
David 33 or anyone with experience
Which Latin American countries in your experience would you say have the least habit of shaving?
I am visiting south and central america every year for two months.
I really miss the 80's, this shaving trend sucks so bad. To me it's a real turn off even if the girls are as hot as Shakira.
Oh, I went to praque kennedy and sat for a good 20 minutes last night around 8pm. No one approach me at all. How many girls work around that square?
There need to be a universal signal that you are looking for fun so there is no guessing for the working ladies. Perhaps untide shoe laces on one shoe for example. Hehehe
I like a nice bush also but the good news is you have less chance of getting the crabs with a clean shave.
8 PM is a little early for that area.
As far as a signal just look like a Gringo and be without a women and I think they will get the idea.

However, I saw a small selection of girls giving me eye contact right next to Pizza Alley on Ave Benavides. You know the blue atm right at the start of Pizza Alley - the closed stores next to that has a variety of girls that looks interested and just hanging around. None were worth the effort of negotiating with or taking back to my hotel.
On the subject of SW, theres a block in Gamarra near Jamie Bauzate Y Meza (inside the "complex") where there were girls motioning me to come and a hostel upstairs. It didn't look too safe, especially with the stories about guys coming in and stealing your stuff, so I didn't partake. Has anyone seen anyone there?

Sounds like my kind of place. When you say inside the complex do you mean inside the gammara market next to the stores? I am due for a gammara run and I would like to check it out.
Thanks

I could be wrong but I think he is talking about the street behind "Polvos Azules" where 110a (little casa with 7 girls for S/20)used to be.

Thanks
Yeah its inside the gammara market (the gated part) in the far north end just before 28 De Julio.
Theres a fair few locotorios (phone places) below and near a juice bar and some restuarants. Its the "middle" block of the three.
