I think there's a vast difference between a guy who is visiting and hoping to score a few holiday girls and is perhaps clearly not going to be in town for long, and someone who is more familiar with the country, the people, the language and can show to the girsl that they, for want of a better word "established.

Look at it from the girls point of view. If you are only staying for a few weeks the girls know you want to achieve a lot of scores in that time, vs someone who lives there, or travels there frequently, has unlimited potential.

Quick report. I spend a lot of time (months) on DIA and FilipinoCupid. Most profiles are with just one photo and are fakes. My estimate is only 10% are genuine for 18-25 age range. And yes, most of them want marriage, etc. Just before arriving to Manila, I sent out 10-20 messages. Got back 3 solid leads. Waited for one for one hour in Mall of Asia. Got a SMS from her she is in traffic and will arrive at 9 pm (original meeting time was 6 pm). So, I just took a taxi to EDSA Entertainment, which is just 5-15 min taxi ride from MallOfAsia.

NOTE: Taxi driver kept talking about a different and much better place: Asian Entertainment Center (next / opposite casino). Anyhow, I got to EDSA at about 8 pm, and it was literally no customers, and full of girls. I checked out Pitstop, and some other place, then stopped at Firehouse. Asked mamasan to recommend me a girl. Paid bar fine 2000-PHP plus one lady drink 400. Took the girl for overnight, agreed to 4000. Great girl / person, great sex, great body, we even went to see a movie together the next day. I am new to this so I am still smiling from this religious experience. So my verdict so far, DIA is a time-waster (at least for me). Just pay the money, at least you know what you are getting.

So I usually don"t go to La Cafe anymore because of the lack of talent. When I do go I sit upstairs and enjoy the bands and actually pretty darn good Bar food for the price. I had the chicken quesadilla and it was great, big and well worth the price. Plus also the alcohol is priced fair so no complaints if you can enjoy those things.

But, no lookers I could find. It seemed like all girls were over 35 and can't work in a bar anymore because of lack of looks. Really disappointing in the talent there. Hopefully it was a one off and things will get back again. I thought with Christmas coming there might be a lot of sexy ones out looking for money.

Maybe they have blocked the pipes by now as this is a couple of years ago. Even with the roach walking over my foods it wasnt that bad.

LAC / MBC. After I met someone I'd order a big plate of pancit. It was (maybe still is) too big to eat. Get the gal to invite her friends. Have a little dinner party, make friends. It can be fun but the place across the street isn't bad. I prefer the Shwarma place though.

My mongering experiences are full of dating sites, since I am not into bar hoping as some other fellow mongers does. In whatever cover, once the girl arrive in my room I always compensate the girl with money.

For Philippine, some girls no money, some asks to be compensated in different way; some asks straight. But scammers! I am fortunate I met none. If any girl ask money before hand of first meeting, I just cut off her. It does not make any sense sending money to some one whom we never met. I am looking for some advise, and yes I did RTFF. I've been to Manila a couple of times on short biz trips (I posted). My hunting ground was mostly EDSA where I booked Short Term.

My next trip will include a work free weekend and I intend to spend the weekend with company. Ideally she would show me around town a bit, have some nice food and probably go to one of the clubs to hit the floor.

Of course there is always the option to take a girl out of EDSA and arrange a long term stay (I guess this would include paying multiple days bar fine on top of her tip). Has anyone done this before? Are the girls likely up for this?

I also considered DIA and Mingles2 both of which I just set up an account. I am not texting anyone on DIA yet since they require a pic for that (obviously I am not willing to put my real pic up there). How do you deal with the picture topic?

I also understand that it may involve a lot of back and forth to get something solid lined up.
