If you truly are in NYC and were this concerned you would research a little and know that there are a number of options to be tested anonymously for this through either planned parenthood, quest diagnostics, etc. Secondly, if you have no partner then the family won't know. Third, if you're still on mommy and daddy's insurance then the insurance owner (presumably mom and dad) will see on their EOB you have gotten STI services however it's so easy to search online that you don't need to use your insurance and a sliding fee schedule is used which doesn't cost much at all so. If you can afford a flight to Panama then you can afford to pay for a test. Fourth, the whole post sounds BS for all the reasons above and if you're that nervous about it then this isn't the thing for you to be doing.

It will make you have severe vomiting if you don't take it with food, plus he has to take 100 MG for. 7 to 10 days. I would instead recommend 1500 MG of azythromycin taken all at once (e 500 MG pills known in the US as a z-pack) along with an intramuscular injection of ceftriaxone I believe 1000 MG is sufficient. That will knock out any no complicated gonorrhea and / or chlamydia infection. If he is in Colombia or. México he can go straight to a pharmacy and request those specific drugs and have the pharmacist administer the injection all without having to see a doctor or get tested.

Your symptoms are consistent with a fungal / yeast infection. Look it up. Try putting Monistat cream or its generic equivalent on your penis. It is over the counter and will say vaginal cream but it is fine to use on your penis. If the itching stops, then get a prescription for fluconazole either OTC in Colombia or via a doctor in the USA to kill the fungus in your body and stay away from sweets for a week. I would do 7 days of fluconazole. You will feel lousy day one and two as the yeast dies off then will feel energetic and clear headed. Read the side effects especially with fluconazole and other drugs and alcohol. You should stay away from booze those 7 days anyway.
If the itching persists, then you are most likely latex allergic which is common. Use OTC hydrocortisone cream if you are in the USA. You can get a stronger steroid cream in Colombia but administer as thin a layer on your penis as you can. Also take one zyrtec 10 MG or generic equivalent at bedtime for 7 or so nights. It will make you sleepy.
The problem with the antibiotics mentioned is they will make a yeast / fungal infection worse. Also, a steroid cream would make a fungal / yeast infection worse. On the other hand, there is no downside to treating the yeast / fungus first and given your symptoms, that is what you most likely have anyway.
And this is free advice and you get what you pay for. But FWIW, I feel for you. It is a common problem but is not discussed all that often. Yeast infections are technically potential STDs but no one talks about them like they are.
