Spots: Judy's Spot at Tongren Lu and Manhattan Bar (don't remember the road name) - mix of Chinese, Vietnamese and some Afro.

This should suffice for the first visit. You may not need to venture out in Telegram groups or MR hunting at this point.

Hi all, I will be in SH in April. I am thinking of booking Amily (anybody have experience with her?) from NOL but my hotel won't be convenient because I'll be surrounded by colleagues, also it's way out in Hongqiao. Does anybody know any good short-term places in SH? In Taiwan there are a lot of motels with big bath tubs, beds, couches etc that you can rent for a few hours or a whole night, very discreet and anonymous. Is there anything like that in SH? If not, any hotels that are guest friendly? I speak Chinese so I can go pretty local.

The price is around 2000 and the quality is really up and down. Had sessions with DFK, OWO and CIMI, and also the opposite, really bad. They promise a lot, some delivers.

KEV is also an alternative to pick up girls, but you need to go first, they are not allowed to hunt.

Basically it was young ladies from the villages trying to fleece money from rich Chinese (and other) men by taking them to rooms in the hotel very discretely. Does anyone have any intel as to whether this scene still exists at this hotel?

Latest intel is semi crackdown at both Judys and Manhattan. Definitely no African girls permitted to enter either establishment.

Girls exiting Judys must exit alone and walk a distance from Judys steps to meet you. This is not so strict at Manhattan as you can be collected by DiDi or Taxi either side of street outside Manhattan but just be careful of traffic.

Over last 12 mths Manhattan definitely had more beautiful young Viets but they still only want 'Pay for Chat' in the bar with Chinese guys.

But let me report back post next week.

There may be the occasional mamsam out the front of hotels with their cards, and a posse of village girls hiding around the corner waiting for the signal to approach, but those days appear to have vanished.

So sad.

Not remotely like it was in the old days (10 or so years ago). Girls very mercenary. Only African ones were really warm and friendly. But a bit too big for my tastes. And now they are barred from entering (or so I hear) .
