thanks. i was using my laptop in my apartment. everytime i tried to access the site i got disconnected. the last time it happended i was actually posting on this site (isg) via one window while receiving a disconnected message on another window, so i knew something was not right.

Summary:
4 days, 7 casas, 7 girls. Sessions were split between Copa and Centro.
This was my first time mongering in Rio. I was impressed by the sheer number of available girls and casas, but dissapointed in the garden variety of sex that was typically offered. Where are the pervy girls that have to tamed, rather than asked for debauchery? I recommend that mongers needing GFE/takeout stay nearby at Atlantico Copacabana, which has been noted in the forum to be girl friendly. I’m not (yet) into bringing GDP’s to the room, and valued the free wireless more, hence the choice to stay where I did. This part of Rua Tonelero is a nice area to stay, safe, not touristy, and both aforementioned hotels are right across the street from the Siqueria Campos metro station, allowing easy access to Centro termas or any normal places that you might want to go downtown.
MONEY:
In Copa, an ATM is just inside the grocery store near the corner of Rua Sequeira Campos and Rua Tonelero and it has a great exchange rate with low fee.
In Centro, I spent all day there and didn’t find an ATM. All the banks have a zillion machines but they are for bank transactions only. Even the Bradesco machines with Cirrus/Plus logos wouldn’t accept my ATM card.
MONGER MEDS:
Vitamin C and Azitromicina can be purchased at the drogaria near the corner of Rua Figueirdo and Rua Tonelero, for those like me who enjoy better mongering through science. I also bought a pack of Cialis at a Pacheco drugstore downtown on Ave Rio Branco. R$56 for 2 pills and R$117 for 4. The azitro was generic and called Zitroneo, R$33 for a 3 pill pack. I got a bad eye infection from my first mongering experience in the termas of Sao Paulo. I got slightly drunk and crazy every night, 69ing garotas (yes, I know) I’m sure this is the cause, so now I medicate with Zitro to prevent any culo eye or so forth (and don’t 69’ GDPs). Zitro is good for treatment of anything non-viral you can catch from a GDP or her casa, so I take a 500 mg pill daily assuming it’s also preventative.

I stopped at Bel Prazer about 1:30 pm. To reach Bel Prazer, find 185 Rio Branco, enter and walk down the winding ramp, then go to the far elevators. You need to go to the 20th floor. Once you reach the 20th floor, go up the staircase and look for the door with 2114 on it.

excellent report. But your intel on the Copacabana Premier is dead-wrong. I have stayed there fairly recently and brought several girl over for TLN. Never a problem with the night crew. One of the girls wanted a toothbrush, and one of the doormen even went to a store and bought one for me. (The R20 note I gave him may have helped :)).
Yes, their wireless is free and works great. Even enough bandwidth for some video-conferencing software. Breakfast OK. Rooms on the small side, but with nice furniture. Outstanding bathrooms with great showers, big enough for 2.
