You guys going to Carnaval. I hope you have fun. I've gone 3 times and always had a good time. I looked at some of the accommodation prices today and they seem pretty high. I'm glad I got a chance to go before the Youtubers several years ago. If I can find a decent priced hotel or apartment, I might head up this week but everything seems extremely high and I don't blame them since this is one of the only weekends when they can rake in a boat load of cash from tourists.
Thank you to everyone who has been talking down Barranquilla. Do stay with the gringo crowd in the city of Colombia (known by locals as Medellin). But this city here, I am quite happy to still have it all to myself, thank you very much.

In my opinion the worst value for money in Colombia is to be found in Santa Fe (65 k for 10 min of toxic attitude). For the same money you can do much better in the bar-casas in Chapinero or these here in Barranquilla.
For my money the best value is on [URL]seeking.com[/URL] (example: 600 k for 3 h two rounds GFE with a cute, intelligent university student) but it takes some effort to find and set up a date with a girl who has a busy life. YMMV.

That keeps you safe.
