Bourne Legacy trivia you probably did not care about
To give you an idea, it looked like the area where they filmed Bourne Legacy. I don't know if it actually was, but it sure looked like it. Dirty. Grimy. With the elevated tracks overhead.
The street scenes in Bourne Legacy--getting a hotel room, buying medicine, rooftop chase--were filmed along San Andres in Malate, just south of Remedios Circle, and the narrow alley rescue of Rachel Weisz was at a set they built in an empty lot at Remedios Circle. Motorcycle chase scenes were filmed under LRT 2 along Magsaysay Boulevard, the overhead walkway (knocking the woman's oranges out of her bag and jumping down onto a bus) and high overhead scaffolding scenes were at Taft and EDSA, the fruit market crash was in a public market in Marikina, and the final sliding motorcycle crash was in the fish port complex in Navotas.
How's that for meaningless trivia? The San Andres area is actually a notch better than the area I described near Carriedo Station but possibly similar to the university section you described.
I think H pretty much just told us how it's done in the Quiapo area.
Arrived NAIA midnight, departed 8 am
Had a airline booking from hell which I had consciously accepted. I have stayed at Cuenta Victoria Court a few times before. I couldn't be bothered walking out, checked wechat, could only find a few ladyboys and regular massage joints and I fell asleep about 1 am.
Jetlag had me awake about 5 am and I booked a massage girl from a choice of 7 pictures. True to the arrangement, she arrived within 25 minutes, looked good and well presented. The girl would do everything with her pants on but unwilling to get those pants off. Damage was P500 for the booking and two hour massage, tip was P1000.
Was convenient. Before long I was in a taxi going back to the airport.
I love this place.
