Someone has queried me about what he thinks is a new scam at Manila Airport.

Apparently an Airport official approaches you and says your on a banned list. Money fixes the problem.

Has anyone heard of this one? Nothing would surprise me, LOL.

Perhaps some may disagree, but I never ever talk to anyone on the streets in Manila.

A simple Hello, good bye or No thank you is all.

Now from the gate to immigration is pretty secured with only passengers and airport personnel directing you to immigration. I don't see how anyone can approach you. Next stop is the immigration booths.

You would have to be pretty stupid to be scammed with this and I don't see where they could do it. Sounds like a BS story to me.

What you maybe referring to is they loiter around or hang out in bars to be picked up and get paid for sex.
