Bangkok nights out are full of this stuff!

Once you move here and make some "friends," the nights out get better, and the "friendships" often bloom into quasi relationships with "real" sex. Just bring a lot of money to fuel the party and an open mind. The best part is there is always another pretty girl on the next bar stool, chrome pole, website, etc, etc.

I have enjoyed your street photos for a while. One thing I have noticed is the short, stylish skirts and dresses the every day girls wear. Is this normal just in BKK, Pats and other major cities or country wide. I always thought Thailand was a more conservative country but from your photos it's quite western.

So I have her cell number and call her around 1AM because that is when I became free from my work obligations. First time no answer, I try again she picks up the phone, remembers me but I have no idea what she is saying, later found out she was saying it's "laining" (raining) and that is why she could not go out. I am trying to get her to come to my hotel and she keeps saying she will call me back and does not and laining laining. Finally I call her again (total 3 or 4 times) and tell her I am going to Insomnia and will wait for her there. By that time it is 2:15AM, I figure I will have no difficulty finding company at Insomnia and that she probably won't come.

By 3:30AM I give up waiting and switch to hunting mode (lots of new girls still coming in at 3AM. 4AM maybe back from ST sessions?). Then SOM appears behind me, grabs my hand and brings me to a table where she is with 2 friends. We danced on stage for a while and she was just so gorgeous, I mean she just turned 20, the body of a queen, firm, strong, everything natural and well proportioned (I think she is about 5'6 or 5'7) and smelling fresh, long black hear, clear white skin and shy. I bought a couple drinks for her and her friends, then we went back to the hotel around 5 something and had an intense 2 hour session. No problems at all with her friends this time, they were just nice girls, did not try to go with me or anything.

Som is moaning softly, not like the usual fake "f. Me" you hear from the bar girls, and she would always put my hand back on her body, stuff like that, real GFE. I get a taxi in front of the hotel and the driver speaks no English and does not know where the address is. And I am sure it was another 45 minutes for her to go back to Sukhumvit where she lives. I gave her money for the ride of course.

Unfortunately she a) absolutely would not let me take any picture of any part of her body (I really insisted but no way, sorry guys and sorry for myself too because I really would have liked a souvenir picture of her, and be) she is leaving tonight to go visit her family in her province. I am going to have to find company tonight, will be hard to match but we never know.

Bangkok is a cosmopolitan megalopolis. The weather is typically hot and humid, so women do not have to wear much to be considered "covered."

Thailand is a major world exporter of textiles and made to order clothing (especially to the US and Japan). There is an international fashion industry centered here.

One sees many styles of dress both in the daylight and nighttime hours. Some working women dress conservatively (e. g., bankers, teachers), while others (e. g., business women, self-employed professionals), are more fashion conscious. Where I live in the Silom CBD, you see a little bit of every style, including Patpong bargirls on their way to work.

In other parts of Thailand you will find a mix of styles. Everything from the conservative attire of Muslim women in the South, to coquettish, young, university girls in Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen. Most towns have discos and karaoke clubs where women dress up to go out. However, showing too much upper body skin, or nipple protrusions, can be a "no no" for good Thai girls.

In places such as Pattaya, Patong, Samui, and other areas that have "lady bars," you will find that women everywhere in much sexier attire, ("sl*t wear"), than in typical towns. Not surprisingly, most bargirls typically do "dress down" when they make the trip home to see the family.

Generally, most Thai people like to dress comfortably casual. This usually means short, a t-shirt, and flip flops. Of course, on a young Thai women, this in itself can be very sexy!

Additionally, numerous bars and nightlife areas in Bangkok and other cities will be shut down altogether to avoid gatherings of large numbers of non-drunken expats. Wichean has launched a PR campaign encouraging them to stay home on Saturday night 'for once. '

Although large-scale rioting by un-intoxicated foreigners is rare, many previous Thai elections have seen small outbreaks of civil unrest, usually by expats who were unaware of the election at all and who reacted badly to being told that they can't have a drink at their favorite establishment.

'For many of these men. 36 hours without a drink and the company of a rented Asian female represents something unacceptable, terrifying even, ' said Noppawan Rangkulan, sociology professor at Thammasat University. 'Sobering up means becoming momentarily aware of their graying bodies and emotionally hollow lives. What we think of as an alcohol-free night represents an existential crisis for them. '

Noppawon claims this 'sobriety shock' is an actual medical pathology and recommends that hospitals offer free alcohol IV drips during the election weekend.

'Most expats are perfectly reasonable people, ' she said. 'The few deranged ones that end up yelling at waitresses at Irish pubs, they just need help. '

But according to Election Commission member Prapun Naigowit, much of the problem simply stems from a lack of communication. 'Many expats are so isolated from the realities of the country they live in that something as major as an election can slip under their radar, ' he explained. 'Those who prepare ahead of time can easily get through the weekend by having a case of beer and a few DVDs ready at home. '

The EC has launched an educational campaign by posting messages on Thaivisa. Com, reminding expatriates of the alcohol ban and suggesting that they host 'Election Parties' in their apartments.

Major grocery chains such as Tops have also joined in the campaign, touting 12-packs of Chang and Singha at their outlets with offers of free coolers as part of their 'Stay Home, Stay Wasted' promotion.

Although the EC is confident in their campaign, Noppawan still thinks that planning ahead simply goes against the mentality of the alcoholic in general, and the alcoholic expat in particular.

'The people likely to cause a stir on election day can't think three hours ahead, much less plan for a weekend, ' she said. 'You might as well ask your dog to feed himself while you're on vacation. '
