If you are slightly more adventurous, you will find better selection and prices at the end of a fairly short taxi ride to 4 x4 instead of MC. MC has not impressed me as being worth the price difference. Although, you are more likely to find English speakers at MC. Also, a trip to the prives in Centro during the day is a personal favorite. About 140-160 for an hour is a bargain even before the current exchange rates. I usually find what I want by checking the three or for most popular places that are all very close together. Let me know if you consider that route and I can tell you my top 5 list for them.

I have only tried a couple of independents so far; having just recently started exploring that option. All in all, that has been the best value. Meaning, not the cheapest, but high quality and still less than the termas. Both that I have tried were true to their pictures and were a lot of fun. If you go that route, ask for recommendations and read reviews at ForumX and / or [URL]GPGUIA.NET[/URL]. The only downside is if you enjoy the hunt then the independent route doesn't give you that thrill. It does however, offer the best quality and setting in my opinion.

Last, and definitely least, is Mab's. I just don't enjoy it and I'm not entirely sure why. In other parts of the world that type of freelance scene is my favorite. By far!
