Please help a novice mongerer. Seeking advice from the experienced gents
Hello Gentlemen,
I have been to Medellin once and enjoyed my 5 day trip a lot. People were very nice, climate was cool. I did the tourist things during the day and went enjoy the paisa girls in the night. I felt very safe and welcomed.
I am traveling to Cartagena for the first time in August. Please help me on:
1. Best places to hangout and pick chicks.
2. Best luxury hotels to stay.
3. Few tourist things that I should not miss.
4. Few top restaurants.
5. Any particular places to avoid. Some say beach is a no no.
If there is already a post / list then please share with me.
Thank you!
Street walkers in Laguito?
It is a month ago, but I will report from 10 days in Cartagena. I stayed in an apartment in Laguito,.
Did you see any street walkers in Laguito? I'm curious because a dozen years ago they used to walk the streets. There was actually an apartment in the Alantis building with a few prepagos who would watch The Marinare, La Playa and Torre Centauro buildings for single gringos.
But my first trip I stayed at Mirador Laguito and used to see street walkers. Most were dogs but there were a few cute ones coming on too. Then after a couple of trips they started dwindling to nothing but about three years ago I was staying at La Playa and a chica hollered over and I ended up taking her upstairs. She told me she lived over in the Manga neighborhood and came over to Laguito once in a while to make money.
I'm just wondering if with all the hassles in the old city of any are turning back up again around that cluster of chica friendly buildings (not to mention that some of the out of towners that come to be working girls also stay in Laguito).
