OK, so this is part 2 of the curious types of customers you can meet in Pattaya.
The Dumb Farang. This is more of a stereotype that working girls have, but it's a persistent one. You will be classified in this group for sure if you seem lost, don't understand basic concepts such as barfine, you look at the receipt basket itself with amazement ("what is this? Or you say it's your first time in Pattaya. But you can also get this "distinction" if you accept a clearly overpriced ST or any other service, you don't look at the receipt carefully (pretend to study each one even if you don't care) or you don't indicate to the girl you don't quite believe her obviously made-up stories. Or you might simply be having way too much fun. Once you're marked as "dumb farang", the girl and her friends will work to fleece you out of as much money as possible.
This is why I almost never accept situations, where a girl gets herself an LD I didn't agree to. It's not about money yet, but if I let it slide I'll be marked and the girl will try to immediately do the the same thing but at a larger scale. I turn serious, I finish my drink, I pay up and leave without delay, unless I know the girl a bit, then sometimes I'll give a second chance. I just make sure she really knows what my opinion of the situation is. But real-life dumb farangs do exist, I've seen a few younger guys (early 30's?) who seemed to be OK with absolutely anything the girls suggested to them.
The Old Farang. Mainly the resident ones. Stereotypically cheap charlies, often branded somewhat disparagingly "balloon chasers", because one of their favorite pastimes is said to be looking for bars with balloons. This type of decoration signals a (birthday) party: discounted drinks, and free or very discounted food. As I mentioned before, quite a few of them frequent Stunners (the gogo) and Windmill (old venue, top floor). But the most popular area for them is Soi Pothole (Soi Chaiyapoon), and especially Maggie Mays. One weekday I popped in, it was absolutely packed with white men 60+, obviously living locally, and the atmosphere was great. It was so full, there was only one girl who wasn't drinking with the customers.
Young Farang Couple in a gogo. Rare thing, but I've seen this twice in Kink. I talked to one of the couples, early 20's, they were from Germany, although the girl met all my stereotypes of a blonde Australian. They were buying some LDs, the guy got a few very enthusiastic lap dances from one of the dancers, while the German girl was not wearing underwear. She stuck her butt out and lifted her skirt to demonstrate that to the dancers. I could feel she was trying to build up the courage to do and show more, but I got bored after a few minutes. The other couple was just watching and bought an LD or two.
Farang with a Thai wife (in a gogo) - I've seen this 2 or 3 times in Kink: a white guy with a Thai wife, ordering LDs but no touching by the man. Once I noticed the wife went to the toilet, so I started teasing the older gentleman that he should use the time and get really naughty with the dancer (way hotter than the wife). The suggestion seemed to be absolutely torturing him! He was waving his hands and shouting in exasperation "I can't! I can't! My wife! My wife will kill me! You don't know her! She'll kill me! ". It was pretty hilarious! Kink always delivers. Might not be the entertainment I expected, but it's definitely the entertainment I deserved!
The quote" lonely guy sponsor" is only getting nothing in the mind of individuals who are totally into themselves and see the point of the giving of money where they do get a direct tangible benefit. Those individuals are called scrooge or grinch. I like to call them alligator arms. The have a poverty mentality and see scarcity everywhere they look.
What is the mean of the world gift: a thing given willing to someone without payment.
In other words there are individuals who advocate not giving gifts. That is fine if the individual does not want to give gifts. My problem with such individuals is that they advocate that others should not give them either.
Like the guy who does not goto Beach Road, has only done BBFS all over Thailand for the last 14 years and buy 40 LDs it all comes down to a matter of preference. When they start telling others that they should only be doing what they do they have crossed the line. You either believe in personal preferences or you don't. If you believe in personal preferences you state your and you go on about your business. You do not engage in endless back and forth over why you think your choices and preferences are superior to everyone else's.
I know girls that have sponsors and I see what the "lonely guys" get for their sponsorship money. Whereas the guys that are saying all sponsors are losers or simps will take prostitutes out to dinner or on trips. Not just on trips in Thailand but out of the country. If they like it then I love it. But I'm not doing that shit.
If I take a girl out to dinner or on a trip, I will handle the expenses. But I am not paying her to accompany me. IMO, there are to many regular girls who would love to spend time with me like that without requiring payment. They know they have to give something up to get something. Quid pro quo.
Those who are worried about how much money others are spending are individuals who don't have much money to spend themselves. I know this because I've been around truly rich people. They do not prestige signal by writing things like "they have a lot of money laying around" or I have 3 condos and buy 40 drinks. LOL!
I am not going to explain what sponsors get. Because the individual that thinks it is nothing have closed their mind to it and probably do not even know what it means to give a gift. Just one man's opinion. So let's say I give a monthly stipend to a girl that I like. Pay for her hair, nails and give here gifts of clothes, perfume, food ect. Am I a looser? Am I a simp?
My time, my money, my dick, my call
Please note that anyone is free to answer the questions. But know up front that I really don't give a fuck what you think. Most of you who oppose the giving of gifts are a bunch of busted, broke mother fuckers. I don't get along well with people like that.
Well she is one of the few girls I met that was not pressed to meet me for a formal date. I lost touch with her when I was banned from Line.
I've not heard of anybody being kicked off Line. I'm guessing the SubCmdr has a good story there.
I'm curious, how much do you think bar girls makes on average month? What is the range and rough estimate from low to high?
If you go past some of them you will see want ads posted with the salaries the places are paying.
There are a few of us laughing at What he spends his money on- Big Difference. Hahaha.
Who are the few? What exactly are the laughing at?
Imagine buying a Mattel Mickey Mouse watch and trying to convince the world it's a Seiko.
I do not see anyone trying to do that. Please point out the post where this is occurring. What I see is the individual members have different preferences. But some members want to talk about the actions of others instead of their preferences. It is a pretty simple difference. Some are posting actual intelligence on having sex with girls in Thailand. Others are talking about what others are doing from afar while pining away for their return. Let's face it, most people posting in Thailand country forum are infrequent visitors. That is ok. But if they don't have something to add why are they posting in the first place? If you are a frequent visitor then why are they not providing actual reports of their activities instead of just commenting on the actions of others.
I've noticed you are have a very low post count Can you tell us how you can really know anything about Thailand or the individuals who post here?
OK, so this is part 2 of the curious types of customers you can meet in Pattaya.
Great post brother. I've observed everything you have.
LMAO too funny and I pretty much feel the same way about many posts.
Damn straight brother. I am here to enjoy my life, have fun and share my adventures with my brothers that share the same interests.
Don't to this, don't do that. These mother fucking "girly men" need to knock a Thai girl up and have a child so the can tell their kid what to do. Who in the fuck do they think they are? We are grown men up in here!
I am not going to explain what sponsors get. So let's say I give a monthly stipend to a girl that I like. Pay for her hair, nails and give here gifts of clothes, perfume, food ect. Am I a looser? Am I a simp?
It depends on your expectation and the motivation behind such gifts. Maybe you are doing it on the basis of expecting nothing in return except a thank you. For instance I was in an airport and some of the workers were in line to buy ice cream at DQ. I bought it for them, not knowing their names and never expecting to see them again. I was happy with seeing a smile on their faces.
Most men that are probably giving bar girls or chicks they have fucked gifts or sponsoring them are probably doing it on some type of expectation. Could be the expectation that she is available next time he calls on her, the expectation that she would see him as having a good heart, the expectation that she will not fuck other men, the expectation that she will be taking English classes. Could be any of 1 million things.
But it is like a tree falling in the woods. What he does not know will not hurt him. As long as he thinks or feels his expectation is being fulfilled, whether it is or not, it is all gravy. The simp or loser part only comes in if he finds out he is not getting what he thought his gifts or sponsorship was paying for. It stands to reason though that nobody is sending people remittances with absolutely no expectations. If that was the case they could just throw the money into an envelope and put a random address on it.
I think it is Explorer who is really concerned about guys sponsoring hookers. I think he is doing it under the assumption that these sponsors have the expectation that the chicks will not fuck anyone else or deal with other men, when in fact the chicks will. Maybe that is not their expectation at all. Preaching to someone not to sponsor someone without knowing their motivation behind it is kind of a moot point.

With google translate at the helm, I rode around and took pictures of the help wanted signs at bars and gogos around town. It is on you to interpret the results.
Yes!
This does not mean that you will not have to file the required forms with the Thailand Revenue Agency if you meet the qualifications and become a "Tax Resident" in Thailand as defined by the law in Thailand (previously covered). Even if there is no tax liability in Thailand there still may be a reporting requirement. I have not received any clear guidance on that issue other than just wait and see.
A few years back the USA Embassy stopped providing the notarized income verification letter we were required to submit to Thai Immigration in order to extend our Long Stay (Retirement) Visas. And at that time we were told income verification would have to be provided to Immigration directly. Meaning we needed to provide proof of a pension or whatever was the source of the required 65,000 baht minimum monthly income or I think even the 800,000 baht Thai bank deposit along with the other documents required for extending those visas.
So that is what I did. I routinely included a copy of my pension 1099, rental property income and / or Social Security income statements in the packet of documents I handed the Immigration Officer at crunch time. Way overkill really. But it was reported uncertain if, say, rental property income qualified or not, certain sources of pension and so on. So I gave them some of everything that might qualify.
I never was told by an Immigration Officer if or which documentation was the one or ones that qualified as valid sources of income. I asked a couple of times. But in the Bangkok Immigration Office, they are so swamped and apparently are so immunity resistant to any and all questions from the various country visa applicants they just waved off anything that might slow down or sidetrack the paper shuffling and pointing back to the waiting area or another windows.
Well, this time around, when I extended my visa in April, I was actually witness to what the Immigration Officer did when she opened my documents envelope for the first time and encountered those proof of income source documents. She pulled all of them aside with less than a passing glance at any one of them, pushed them across the desk at me saying, "no need" and redirected her attention to only the most basic documents of interest to her; the visa application, bank statements showing the required minimum monthly Foreign Transfers, photo copy of my bank passbook, passport photo page, etc.
She could not have cared less what the source of those monthly ForeignTransfers were as long as they hit the 65,000 baht minimum amount for each and every one of the previous 12 months as shown in my Thai bank statements. Which runs contrary to the way it was reported regarding Immigration taking over the income verification duties of the USA and other Embassies a few years back. Not that the Embassies gave a shit about the source or even truthfulness of the claimed income either.
Anyway, I guess I am wondering who and at what point in my daily life or, most importantly, at crunch time when I am extending my visa next April, will somebody ask me for proof of my USA tax liability. The Immigration Officer? Really?
Are those swamped Immigration Officers being greeted by thousands of visa applicants and extenders from all around the world every working day of the week really expected to do what they have been doing plus add a review of tax forms and documents from 100 different countries, compare them to claimed income levels, chart how much each applicant comes up short on owed taxes for their home country vs Thailand, etc? And then what? Calculate and require them to pay the missing taxes before your visa expires in 3 days? As verified and notarized by an on-site licensed Tax Preparer?
I don't even get my USA taxes prepared and / or paid for a given tax year until almost October of the following year, with automatic extensions allowed to me as an expat living outside of the USA. So what is Thai Immigration going to know or ask of me about my 2024 tax year liability in April 2025 when I go there to extend my visa, which is the only part of this I care about.
Seems like it would probably be passed off to another agency to which our tax situation must be reported and not Immigration. If at all.
Hell, I remember when that dreaded TM30 form, the "Notification from House-Master, Owner or the Possessor of the Residence where Alien has Stayed" form, was suddenly and momentarily resurrected from its coma and required at the point of extending our visas. That lasted just one or two cycle years as I recall. Then it was put back to sleep and forgotten. The Immigration Officers in Bangkok were so frazzled by having to deal with that form, turning visa extension applicants away or fining them because their landlords hadn't submitted one properly for the year. No way are they going to stand for now being tax accountants for the crowds showing up every day.

But what you left out is that it could be a mutually beneficial relationship. I get to pull that hair that was done, see those nails wrapped around my dick when she is sucking it and sucking on her toes when she has her legs on my shoulders. That makes it mutually beneficial. Especially when she shows gives you three choices and lets you pick the design. Priceless!
If someone is not a positive force in your life why do you help them? Explorer is making an assumption that the sponsor gets nothing. That how he sees it from his point of view. But is it a reality. A friend just said he was going to buy some land and start a farm. I know a little about that so I told him I'm here for advice and will hop on a plane when it is time to break ground if he wants my help. Never mind that he will not do the same thing for me. I have a long history with this friend and he is one of the only people I know that understands what it like to live overseas. We also had similar professional careers.
My point is, we do not know the benefits of the sponsors are receiving. Because we are not in their minds. I have watched girls handle their sponsors before. I see what they are giving to them. It is a mental health service. You can't just call your therapist up at all time of the day and night just to say Hello,. My problem with Explorer is that he is not concerned with the sponsor. He is concerned only with how the sponsor interrupts his dick desires. He is consistent about letting know this is only concern. That is why I cannot take his advice seriously. He only has his own interests at heart.
