My main complaint against low season is supply! If you go during high season their are so many girls it almost like they are falling from the trees. During low season there are girls but your choices are extremely limited. This is the first issue. Second issue is the rain. My last trip was September. The rain just would not stop. Walking around in the pouring rain is not as much fun hunting for girls as if you are walking around in nice weather. I will sometimes walk in Pattaya for an hour or more to find just that right girl.

I rarely ever get poor service in Thailand. Unless I pick a gogo girl. One incident in particular I remember she demanded I pay first or she would leave my room. This is after I already paid 700 Bar fine. Would have been nice if she told me before we left the bar. I agreed in my room and after 5 minutes she was demanding I finish. I went back to the bar to complain to the manager and she could give a shit. It was the principle of wasting around $3000 baut. There will always be duds in Thailand but I feel alot better losing 500-1000 bait compared to 3000.

When I mentioned not paying for bad service. I only brought this up because I was talking about thai logic and somethings in Thailand things are not logical. Like raising price to make up for loss in low season. My best friend who has been going there for 20 years did exactly that for rob service just to see what would happen. The girl called the police from her cell in his room. He had to pay to make the story short. I would never refuse to pay no matter how bad the service because I don't want problems.

Now if you want to talk about bad service. I would mention the Russian girls in Bangkok. Surprisingly even the the low season there is always a lot of them. The cost when I was there last time was 2700 baut. Some of those girls are 8,9, and 10's. Extremely beautiful. But there service is shit 8 out of 10 times. You are only paying for beauty.

I think you don't have see that because you only go in the big agogo where they don't really let Indians inside. Some smaler agogo let them go in but they hace to pay for the entry. Just go check in the smaler one who you have to go upstairs.

And that one guy bring the girl to the hotel room where the others are waiting and then won't let her go because she don't want that it is still happening and some don't call the police because they don't want to lose her face then many girls at the beach road have a normal job and just do it because of the paimend in the normal job is not enough.

And even if the girl want to call the police she can only do it after all is happening. Or you really think that the guys will let her call anyone in front of them?

i've seen it first hand and sitting right next to me in a go go but the customers were not indians, of course not because this particular one does not allow them in. the group of 4 guys were european from the language they were speaking? i got there and sat down after they came. they might have had a drink each but when i sat down i noticed a few minutes later only 1 drink with no other coasters around. the waiters now was pointing if they wanted a drink, they said no but i noticed the two waiters were trying to be patient but after a few minutes came back and again made the request. this happen a few times within ten minutes finally the guys pay the tab and left. from the expression on the waiters face the constant request was a polite way of getting them to leave if they were going to order any drinks?

You would think education would help with matters in the discussion but watch the news sometimes here in Pattaya or pick up one of the local expat paper like Pattaya People, Pattaya Mail, and read about all the crimes created by foreigners living or visiting? And as you noted if the Indians that are traveling here are better off and more educated and know better then why the discussions?

Stupid shit happens here daily and it isn't all by the Indians. There are many Expats here like a few members of the Tourist police that are using their position to mask their activities.

Plenty of punters on this forum write that Pattaya is, or must be, great in the monsoon period because there's few tourists so it must be "buyer's market". In my experience that's not so. It's the girls' vacation period during which they go home to their families in Isaan. Last time I was in Pattayin outside season I had a chat with a European bar owner who moaned, "it's getting worse and worse in July. We can hardly do business with so few girls around". And, as I wrote in an earlier posting, some of the more marginal gogos and music bars (around Soi Bukaow and LK Metro) were bringing in temporary replacements from the non-farang brothels in Isaan (I had a MILF from Kalasin who told me about it) and rotated their waitresses across the dance floor.

That's not to say you cannot have a lot of fun (Pattaya is, after all, Pattaya), but no one should think that they'll be spoilt for choice.

Can anyone " boots on ground " confirm this. I apologize if this is old news or in a earlier thread.

It's just the place was " special to me " , lot of good times. My favorite " Pre-Game ' spot.
