I have a motorbike in Jakarta, but I don't use it often. It mainly just sits in the garage and collects dust. I'd love to have a bajaj to drive around in since those seem to impress the ladies. I have Tinder. And with GOLD you can set your location. So while I am at home in the USA I can set up Tinder dates in advance.

A review of the forum here suggested Badoo as a 2nd option. I set it up and got the Premium account, but I am not able to change the location as in Tinder. I tried everything I could, based on Google searches, but nothing works. All I get is locals here in PA.

Anyone aware of a fix.

Also what are suggested rates to pay Tinder girls? Most are asking 1. 5 to 2 million which I think is too much.

Before / after you use Tinder or Badoo, you can switch the fake GPS on and off and set the location to Jakarta. 1. 5 million. I'd never pay that. I'd go somewhere else.

Also, I think its quite simple to change location settings in Badoo, I distinctly remember using it.

You can pick anywhere to search from but the locations are from a drop down list. If your place is not on the list you can't over type your own. Just pick somewhere close. Eg Kuta (Bali) can not be selected but Denpasar can.

If you get any "matches" that is possibly the app AI doing its trick on you. If you actually manage to chat with someone and exchange numbers, do let us know. This may be a trick we are all missing!

I've been chatting for 2 days now, but without any real contact info as you suggested. Coincidentally, I got my 1st WhatsApp number tonight and the profile pic on WA matches the pics on Badoo. Siti & I have had a multiline chat in WhatsApp, so I assume it is working.

I must admit that this social technology baffles me at times.

I have read the forum extensively the past month, 200 pages to be exact. Good thing I am semi-retired to have the available time to waste.

What I feel lacking is the fair pricing model for the social app girls Tinder and Badoo.

Upon agreeing to meet in 3 weeks, the girls seem to fall into 2 groups.

1. Those who let you know upfront that compensation is expected and when asked, will sometimes quote a price (1. 5 juta seems to be the standard reply). I always counter that is too much and have gotten as low as 800 k up to 1. 3 juta as a counteroffer.

However, most do not give a price unless specifically asked and I don't ask unless I am sure they expect money.

2. Those who say "ok to meet" but have made no indication whatsoever that money is expected. Many want to "meet for coffee at or near my hotel (Shangri-La) and talk" then whatever happens afterwards is "up to you". I love that phrase. When I was younger and dating in the USA, girls never said "up to you" about anything!

What does the forum suggest as the current fair rates for those 2 groups.
How does ST and LT rates differ as well.

I believe Group 2 is paid "taxi money" to preserve the illusion of no pay for sex.

I want to be fair without giving too much away and spoiling the market.
