I skipped Bangkok my last two trips, only because I find Bangkok nowhere near up to mongering par when compared to Pattaya. But because I had a 6am flight out, I felt it would be better to end my stay in Bangkok; happy I did.

Arrived in BKK around 4 and checked into Nana Hotel. I understand that the hotel is not for everyone, but I've stayed there on several trips and found the location perfect for mongering. I always get a Deluxe room. It is bigger than the others and is set-up like a two room suite. I never had a problem with the room not being clean, or with bugs running amuck as I read in some reports. I like the idea that there are women available all around the hotel, I know, some are not women. Across the street from Nana Plaza and walking distance to Soi Cowboy. Plus there are bars on both sides of the street when headed to Annie's that have plenty of women available.

Around 4:30, I was off to Annie's. See detailed report on Annie's in the Annie's thread of course. My girl was busy at Annie's so I bar hopped during happy hour in a few of the bars on the street. For the most part, there were not too many bar fine-able women in these places, but there was a few. The few girls that I talked to spoke decent English and were quite playful. I was told that the lady drinks were 170b; I opted not to partake.

I left Annie's around 11:30 and my plan was to head back to the hotel and get some sleep because I had to leave for the airport at 4am; didn't work out. As I was passing the Hillary Bar 2, I heard some decent dance music and decided to check the place out. There were women all over in this club. I went to the edge of the dance floor and looked for some place to sit. A server grabbed my arm, guided me through the crowd, and seated at a table that already had 3 women sitting there. 2 hot, one OK; I was a happy camper.

I scoped out some other tables, on the right had 3 women with their own table, and on the left there was a couple (man and woman) , and one hot woman that seemed alone. The women at my table were friendly, and after I bought a couple of rounds, they became even more friendly. The one hottie that was alone at the table to the left wanted to join our little dance party. She was a smoking hot Cambodian, SHC, from here on out. I had to make a tough decision, get some sleep before my flight or dance with four women and lick my wounds on the flight; it was an easier decision than I first thought.

It appeared that the women were non-pros, nor even semi-pros; they just wanted to party and dance. Which was fine with me because Nee at Annie's drained me pretty damn good. There was one pretty girl at the table to the right that kept looking over and smiling, so I went over and starting chatting with her. I had trouble talking to her because her earrings were so big and kept hitting me in the mouth. Turns out she was a pro and she cut right to the chase; 2000b for short time. I was having too much fun with the other 4, so I politely declined.

The SHC was one hell of a dancer and I enjoy watching good dancers, clothed or nude. The other girls were pretty good as well. As the night went on, I got quite close to one of the girls, touching, soft kissing and such. But the time was not in my favor. She asked if she could sleep in my room because she didn't want to sleep at her cousin's apartment, which was quite far away as she explained it. I explained that I had to check-out of the place within 45 minute; thus we parted. I really think that I need to reconsider not skipping Bangkok on my future trips. It was a great romp!

Seemed strange to me with so many nice girls and no customers, but I had ordered a drink and sat and watched and wondered.

After speaking with the girls I was made aware that the dancers (the nice girls) you could not bar fine (but if you purchased them lots of lady drinks and promised them lots of money they might short time after work. Eg its going to cost anywhere from 6000 to 10, 000 baht damage) and you could only bar fine the non-dancing girls in dressed (obviously older and not so pretty).

Needless to say I said "What the fuck is all this shit" before downing my drink and paying my bill. One of the older girls gestured I should pay a tip to a couple of the dancing girls who were, before, smiling at me, to which my reply was "Bollox".

Needless to say I have never been into one of these bars again, but you can see the draw in luring in gullable tourists, let them buy the girl lots of drinks before he finds out he cannot in fact bar fine his little hottie. But can take her aunty out instead.

BIG FAT WARNING to all newbies. If you walk into a bar full of hoties but with very few customers. Turn around and walk out as its likely the "coyote" theme where you cannot bar find the hotties in the bar.

Is there a part of Bangkok that is alive with activities all night? Because of a slight change in my flight schedule, I will land in BKK around 11 PM and have a layover till 6:30 AM. If I head out to the Nana area around that time, will everything be closed or the place will keep hopping with activities all night long? It looks like the gogo bars close around 1 or 2 am, what will remain open after that? Any other bars or discos? Suggestions on how I can spend the time are much appreciated. Thanks.

I was once in Shark and a girl came over to me and started chatting. She was nice enough but had obvious implants and stretch marks. She told me that she had 2 kids, and was 30. She was nice so I asked her how much for ST. 2000 baht and she would not come down. A few nights later, I went into Shark again right as it was closing. I bought a drink and a few minutes later the lights came up. There were maybe 3-4 girls left. One came and sat down next to me and chatted for a bit. She was nice and while not a complete stunner, still pretty. I figured the price would be lower because the bar was closing. I was wrong. 2000 baht ST and despite my efforts. 1500 was laughed off.
