Manila Airport International terminal

I then realized that there was not a single monitor for I think at least 18 departure gates within the International terminal. The only thing I noticed was that there would be placards at the counters for the flights leaving the gates and constant announcements over the loudspeakers. I finally asked a Philippine airline representative about this and they said a lot of passengers where complaining about this but for some reason the "government" would not allow monitors in the Terminal. It was frustrating not to know when a gate change had been made and that my flight had been delayed as well.
Doesn't make sense at all.
