If so, good news.[/QUOTE]I was in Barranquilla a couple of months ago and met a couple of guys who were visiting there. They told me that Cartagena is not what used to be. If you end up getting stuck there, you can always go to Barranquilla for some more laid back punting. There are plenty of buses, Berlinas, Marsol running between the two cities so getting there is pretty easy.

I'm really not sure where all the Cartagena slander comes from.

I was there 6 days earlier this month and couldn't have had more fun. We had a group of 3. Stayed in two separate units at the Palmetto Sunset.

The clubs downtown that closed are still closed as far as I could tell. There's still other clubs / bars open though. I didn't go in any. But there was plenty of chicas outside walking around. Playa Hollywood and Delirium had better quality chicas than what I saw in the walled city. But still, there was a lot of decent girls around for the choosing. Walled City was the same most nights, picked up a bit by the weekend. You'll see girls as early as 8/9 pm but they're in full force around 11 pm /12 am. Playa Hollywood is the place I think about the most since leaving Cartagena last. And it didn't disappoint this trip. Police were at the beach one day checking the girls for identification. I got my bag searched also. I was told the police presence was due to the president taking office that weekend. Was also told the night life would be shut down for the same reason. But we went to Delirium the night he took office no problem. Same old Delirium. Something about seeing a chica all dolled up and in her Sunday's best really does it for me. You can catch the Delirium girls at the beach if you're not into the club scene. Tinder might be the best option for some guys out there. I had over 200 matches with at least 80-100 reaching out and initiating contact. No less than 50 were responding and trying to arrange plans. I only ended up meeting one from Tinder and it was a great time. I did most of my hunting at Playa Hollywood and Delirium.

Stayed at my chicas apartment the last couple days of the trip. Went to a cockfight and some clubs out in the barrios. Never felt unsafe. Everybody was warm and welcoming. There was some beautiful women in the hood areas. Some real diamonds in the rough if you're brave enough to venture outside the tourist areas. And you'll probably get more bang for your buck. I was with my chica so I couldn't hunt like I wanted to but I got the vibe from some of them that they were open for business.

Great trip! Cartagena has everything I need in a vacation destination. Probably has everything you're looking for too. Few guys here don't like the changes that have come over the years but none of the changes / restrictions stopped my fun. Next trip to Cartagena scheduled for the end of September.

Going rates seemed to be around 200 k - 400 k for a quick one (or per hour) & 475 k - 650 k for over night / GFE.

Clock Tower, Playa Hollywood, Delirium & Tinder are like chica buffets.

I prefer Playa Hollywood chicas versus Parque Lleras girls but like Medellin as a whole way more mostly due to the weather.

Now they charge 25 mil per visitor.

One of my chicas arrived in the morning in a 1-piece romper lots of cleavage and the old Spanish lady security guard would not let her in unless she "covered up" her titties meanwhile other people walking through with bikini tops on.

The view I had sucked ass, it was nothing but water, I thought the apartment would be facing the lake but nope.

I had to walk my visitors down so they can leave, meanwhile this Norwegian got drugged and robbed and the 2 Venezuelan chicas he brought in were able to leave without him walking them down.

They were also making me come down to get my guests until I had to let them know the same way when Rappi get there and they call the phone in the apartment is the same way they can call when the chica get there and I can tell them to allow her up.

I prefer El Poseidon even if I have to pay 60 mil per visitor. Way less hassle, and better view.

Only thing that was good about Palmetto Sunset was the brothers I was chopping it up outside the building with just sitting down chilling and talking about other places to go, places that closed down that had good food, price increases on accommodations and things.

For instance, now they are patrolling Playa Hollywood for the Venezuelan girls working to deport them. They also shutdown Kiosko 4 for a bit. Any place that have working girls around are targeted to be shut down. That's the campaign they are on now.

Aside from that, the Grand Malecon by the airport and El Laguito is almost completed, new street outside Cafe Havana was completed, lots of building restoration is coming along.

But yes there were some whales and gross girls but you see those in parque lleras too.

I would say CTG had way more variety as a whole compared to MDE. But CTG is way too hot for me, and many other factors to why I won't go back. If CTG had casas man oh man would I be in heaven.
