I just checked in to the SuperCat from Cebu to Tagbilaran and there are been some changes. First of all, we now have to buy the ticket across the round and around the corner, not inside the door as before. It maybe a good idea to buy tickets in advance next time. The ticket now only includes 15kg luggage or Porter allowance and since we had dive gear, we had to pay an additional 400 peso but the funny thing is the number of control points:

1. 10 peso at the gate while in the taxi to get onto the pier.

2. Long queue to buy the ticket, lucky we arrived early.

3. Security guard to get into the building.

4. Machine luggage check.

5. Dog luggage check.

6. Weighing of the luggage and paying the mandatory 'Porter fee'

7. Ticket check and photo.

8. Check in.

9. Boarding ticket check.

Don't Filipinos love to put up barriers and control points.

For Mongers wanting to come to Phil for a 10 day trip, then the loop of Manila. Cebu. AC. Manila is a good round trip.

Cebu Pacific or Philippine Airlines from Manila to Cebu (1 hour). Cebu Pacific from Cebu to Clark (Angeles City airport) and then road from AC to Manila is a good round trip. Road from AC to Manila can be coach or if you want to get direct to the airport, you can get a driver with a company like beeline travel.

Cebu girls or Cubanas are definitely my favourite. In general they are kind, soft, sweet natured, good fresh positive outlook personalilities and speak reasonably good english.

The Cebu Pacific (CP) flight into AC from Cebu operates a few days a week and is the most direct route, but on occasion the flight is cancelled when the load factor is low. As a result you will be flown to Manila on the next available flight providing there are available seats and then bused to AC.

To me it sounded like a damn good deal considering a taxi from Manila to Angeles is 2000 PHP. Also, I will be able to stay in Cebu a few hours longer and arrive directly into AC without wasting 2 or 3 hours in a bus or taxi only spending 1 hour and 20 minutes of travel time for the day. Sweet.

Yes that's correct and at the same time the fire was burning inside Gaisano, fire also broke out inside the McDo! The restaurant was full of people and it appears a generator overheated. LOL, fortunately there were alot of firemen around to put the fire out quickly in McDo.
