The "in" clubs / bars currently in Tbilisi are Senate (the most glam and popular) , Unique, Missoni and Status. But, as always in Caucasus, in those places, be careful whom you talk to. Definitely lower your expectations. Georgia is very religious and very conservative (a very high percentage are Georgian Orthodox) and so good old fashioned mongering is not encouraged. I went to Tbilisi for 6 days and was gagging for it and, even with lots of research, got nowhere. Visited Sabudara but very disappointed and no action; strip clubs are a major rip-off and what you can do is severly restricted; meeting a local girl and doing a deal, as you can do fairly easily in Spain, for example, is virtually impossible. Also be very wary of locals offering to show you the ropes. They are aware of the difficulties we face and try to rip us off.

You should turn to George Balanchini st, proceed towards Goodwill Hypermarket, make a U-turn to Mirian Mepe street and get back on Agmashenebeli ave.

A couple of years ago I wrote here a report on Sabudara. Now I will add some additional info.

First of all, I see many people ask about strip clubs in Tbilisi. Well, I've been to two of them, Diva and XXX, and I would say that a visit there is mostly a waste of time and money. Firstly, you need to pay 30 lari per person for entrance. Once you are inside and take a seat, after a short while, some of the dancers will come and sit next to you and start chit-chatting. The girls are usually local or Ukrainian. Ukrainians are hotter on average but I would not say they are the hottest Ukrainians I've seen. Now their two main goals are to get tips from you later, after they have danced, and to make you buy some very expensive drinks, claiming they want some. Occasionally, a waiter will come and say that 'girls want that drink' and ask if you would like to buy it. In that case, politely decline. They also offer other services, like light massage, full strip, private dance, etc. I haven't tried these. Suffice to say that for a price of a private dance (or a bottle of a drink they want you to buy) , you can hire one or two decent girls elsewhere and do much more with them than just watch and (if you are lucky) occasionally touch. I've also heard of a guy who offered a stripper in one of these clubs 400 dollars (!) for an hour of sex, yet the girl rejected. So, unless you are ok with that kind of stuff and are not looking for greater action, avoid strip clubs.

If you are looking for individual escorts, then, as other users have mentioned, Russian dating sites, like mamba, rambler, etc. (they use mostly the same database) are your best friend. However, they usually write their phone numbers in Georgian, with Latin characters. So, you may have to ask for assistance from a Georgian speaker or take some time to study how numerals are pronounced, or just send a message and wait for reply. Their prices usually range between 100-150 lari, depending on different factors, like age, looks, meeting place, etc.

If you like places like Sabudara, then there is a similar place, of a cafe-bar type, called 'Natakhtari'. It is located on Agmashenebeli avenue, the one you take if you go from city center to Goodwill Hypermarket. The place is towards the end of the avenue (if you travel from center) , in Digomi district. You will have to go until the end of the avenue and then turn back on it, as it is on the opposite side. It is a small place with few tables, most of which are occupied by girls. And there are rooms in adjacent building. There are about a dozen of girls there, aged about 30 and over on average. Mostly 6-7 on a scale of 10. Prices are the same as at Sabudara. 100 lari for girl. 40 for room.

I may be visiting a couple of places more. I will report if I find anything worthwhile.

Tbilisi-Batumi (more like 7:45). A pleasant trip

If you have done it, you should know that little of the route between Tbilisi and Batumi is interesting scenery. Most of it is flat with an occasional village.

Anyway, it is simply ludicrous to dare say that the Tbilisi / Batumi train, that runs at 40 km / hour, is "better" than the Tashkent / Samarkand train that runs at 100 km / hour.

you don't know what you are talking about. better than the train from samarkand to tashkent? fyi a high-speed train whose comfort equals the eurostar is running on this route and makes the trip in 2h30. and even when it wasn't yet in operation, the express "registan" brought you from tashkent to samarkand in 3h30 and this in very confortable conditions. yeah. some 3h30 for 300 kilometers. now compare that to the 8h30 hours journey for 350 kilometers of the tbilisi-batumi route.

try reading again: iranians patronizing these places. they actually operate place in yerevan, if you ever get there. find something better to browbeat about. of course turks are there. duh.

note: the wehrmacht didn't get to tbilisi, so there are other things in georgia besides turkoids and iranians glad to profit there.

Anyway I am not a big fan of strip clubs as most of the girls are there for money exclusively and in most of the cases you have to be a regular client to get some extras in your room.
