So I did it. Took advantage of a solo trip to Berlin for a conference and headed to Kamilla Dee for my first ever paid sex. Still feels like something that happened in a parallel universe.

Fair warning: people who just want to hear a report about the girl I slept with might want to skip ahead a few paragraphs. Some soul searching and first timer nerve related comedy comes first.

Some reflections for other first timers considering it. Who might, like me, have been very nervous and unsure about going ahead. KD is probably a perfect place to do it. Complete discretion. Very sympathetic staff and girls. It actually took me two attempts to go through with it.

On the first visit there just genuinely wasn't a girl in the lineup of four who really appealed to me so, having chosen one in a panic, I confessed to her that I wasn't feeling sure about going ahead, that it was my first time paying and I wasn't sure about doing so. Honestly she was incredibly sensitive and understanding about it, put no pressure on me at all. Left me to think about it, but made clear she was there if I wanted her. Then the house madam came in speaking no english and basically got annoyed with me hogging her waiting room (quite understandably, she's got a business to run) so I cleared off before I could pluck up the courage..

They're enforcing some laws regarding a ban on prostitution in residential areas. Up to now the place had operated under some tolerance ("Duldung"). The decision was a move by a local city council. Let's hope the prostitution industry regenerates like the Hydra in Greek mythology.

If this signals a further crackdown on p4 p-business, almost at the same time the new laws go into effect, Berlin may lose its naughty shine.

The first time I was in Berlin, I chose KD because KD's web site warned clients that condom would be used for all.

They are closing down because of land use regulations according to translation. They might open a new location.

I just want to say that I hope my account didn't come across like I was calling Nico a '(whatever) who didn't deliver'. I don't want to disrespect her. What she offered wasn't quite right for me, but she was very pleasant and professional (and very attractive! So I think a lot of clients would be extremely happy to spend time with her.

Sounds like your bad experiences are on a whole other level!

I had a very disappointing experience with Nico last May. She would not survive in a well reviewed scene without tourists.

I didn't mean to seem disrespectful of Nico. I was talking about bad experiences in general. Of course there is a difference between disappointments and worthless experiences. My bad that I wasn't clear enough!
