Nice could be a solid 8 with a few tweaks here and there.
I was up to Supporting the Girls as they refer to it.
Problem is so many Hoops they make you jump through. Sign up Nightwish first. No go right there.
I want McDonald's, all I do is get on order page and pay.
No need to sign up with McDonald's first.

Posts: 324Corona Virus Surge / Vaccine Roll Out
There are calls to lock down everything soon. Up until 2 days ago the cases were around 1500 per day, which is manageable at a stretch, was forecast to have 7 days capacity into future at any one time. Thailand has a policy that anyone that tests positive gets put in a hospital, Hospital (special hotel leased by government) or field hospital. This policy is aimed at quarantine as well as mentoring the individuals health. Once cases hit 2839 Saturday and 2438 Sunday this system will be over capacity in a few days. The system is already starting to have issues with a small number of people not being available to find a hospital and dying, probably unnecessarily at home or admitted to late.
They are going to have to lockdown or change the way they handle cases. The health system is good in Thailand, particularly if you have money, not so much if you do not have $. There is not the surge capacity of a western country though.
The vaccine rollut has just started. About a million people have been jabbed. Apparently 6 million locally produced Astra Zeneca shots will be available in June, but every country has missed their official start date so maybe July? There should be enough shots to vaccinate everybody by years end. Thailand needs 100 million shots for an estimate 50 million people that will get jabbed (the total population 70 million. Not everyone will get jabbed). Half shots will be from Astra Zeneca, 1/4 by sinovac, the rest by sputnik & Pfizer. The Pfizer vaccine apparently will be administered by private Hospitals at 2000 to 3000 Baht per shot. Only HiSo locals and expats with cash will be able to afford or have access to that. The sinovac will probably be replaced by extra Astra Zeneca. Sinovac has major issues with efficacy and while better than nothing isn't anywhere nearly as good as the others.

Posts: 2202Yep, Thailand had control of the virus for a year and now seems to be losing it. My October trip is in jeopardy. Maybe my February trip too. I sure hope the Thai people re-up their masks and social distancing and get things safe again. Thailand does not have enough physicians to handle USA levels of infection.

They needed 70% of Phuket residents vaccinated by July to open the Phuket sandbox. I don't know the status of the Thai manufacture of the Astra Zeneca vaccine.

Posts: 5459I definitely would not recommend going to Thailand unless you are vaccinated. I am vaccinated and so I am going. Bars will be closed for a long time. That means I may have to look for ladies working on the street. I am not too excited about bringing strangers to my condo, so I will be using short time hotels, which I have never done.
The good news is that Pattaya will be dead, and the few Farangs that have hung in there for the last year are mostly luvved up with a Thai lady and don't do so much mongering these days. Bad for the ladies, good for me. I will be happy to save some ladies from starvation.

10 years coming to Thailand and I've only met 1 pure Thai (not mixed) girl that ate Indian food. I've actually never eaten Indian food, until I discovered garlic butter naan and mango lassi, back in 2011 on my very first trip to Bangkok. Recently, when I got done with a 1500 baht Go Go girl I found online, I got a chance to chow down. And when I say Go Go quality, it's always more than she works at a Go Go bar. For those who think this is me cheaping out, you have to do the math. Before the going rate was 3000ST for 2 hours, plus bar fine, and drinks and hassle. So 1 hour 1500ST is pretty much the standard when there isn't all the entertainment and hustling involved. Or maybe, I am cheaping out. All it took was an offer and a counter offer like Mr. E said. It may have taken her a month to rethink her pricing, but the pussy I'm sure didn't get any looser between then and now. Times are tough, with Celsius being closed and all. When this spinner was done spinning on my dick, I was hungry and asked her if she was too. She jumped at the offer thinking she caught a new sugar daddy sucker. All I had on my mind was I needed to spend an extra 60 baht to use their 60 baht off coupon for picking up and not delivery. So essentially, her food would be free and I would have finally found another Thai girl willing to eat Indian food (BTW I do this like only 3 times a year just like a clean waxed ass).
But Monkeypaw you ask, is there such a thing as 60 baht Indian food? No not really. But after being here so long, I've figured out, I might be the Land of a Million Stupid Egos. Something weird about some of these Thais. They do not actively seek help from foreigners when they are clueless. How many business signs you see here in Pattaya with misspellings so bad? Even at Big (C) on Pattaya Klang, there is signage like "Cooking Oiel" all jacked up and big like an unsightly accidental hard on. The horrible spellings are everywhere in Pattaya as if I am in some made up illiterate fantasy world. It's okay to make errors. But when there are plenty of Westerners here who can spellcheck for you, before you spend a bunch of money on a huge business sign, you may want to ask for their help. Maybe it's just me, nit picking, but who knows what goes on in the minds of some of these locals. Wonder if it is saving face by not asking for help, or maybe some ego at work.
Anyways, so these food apps will often have glitches that if the owner is not fluent in English or tech savvy, he or she or they, will get fucked over with no gel. And if it is Monkeypaw doing it, you'd better believe I will be using those condoms with the miniature silicone spikes. They are lucky that perhaps only the Paw is able to spot them out. Oh well, like I said. It's all about hidden gems and treasure hunting. If there isn't a pot of gold at the end of your rainbow, if you can even find the end, then you might want to check your connection with God. I am no Indian food expert, but if you are, is this shit a bargain or what?
Two set meals with each set consisting of:
1. 1 large vegetable samosa (just me or with ketchup this is yummier).
2. 1 chicken biryani (traded her for her samosa).
3. 1 cup of raita.
4. 1 dal makhni.
5. 2 pieces of naan or roti (your choice).
6. 2 gulab jamun.
All for, ready for this? 158 baht for both, minus 32 baht (20% off) for pick up, and another 60 baht off for the double whammy glitch. So the total was ONLY 67 baht for both sets and no tip because we were picking up to go. Yes about $2 bucks for 2 meals from an Indian restaurant. Clap clap. Whomever set up the app messed up. The pricing of 79 baht wasn't for the set. Go look at the other sets' pricing. They all range from 179-279 baht. The owner set the wrong price and Monkeypaw made his ass pay dearly. When I arrived, the little old Indian lady working asked the girl why was this so cheap. The Thai girl looked confused and only pointed at me. I asked if she was the owner and she said "no. " The little old lady was just a cook because they had not many customers, so not a lot of staff was needed. The owner was out of the country. Maybe, I'll let the owner try to figure it out on their own. Monkeypaw hasn't decided if he will just let stupid be stupid, or not. I really don't eat Indian food but once in a "blue moon. " If we were in the Roman colosseum, and this was an injured gladiator on the ground submitting to the Paw, thumbs up or thumbs down? Cheap Charlie, Smart and Savvy, or Smooth Criminal? Mercy, mercy, me.

Posts: 1224Order order gentlemen I say I say, members of this venerable forum have to stop impugning my good friend the right honorable MP for Pattaya. It's not his fault he is a privileged young man of tender age. While some may find his posts written in the third person a tad irritating I find his regaling us with imaginative tales of his life in the orient quite amusing. Why should the lad bother you, he didn't kill anyone he's just trying to have some fun.

Remember a couple of years ago, when we met up at Hong Kong Club in Tijuana? That was my first time in Tijuana (not Mexico bc I used to sneak into Nuevo Laredo when I was colleging in Texas). But although Tijuana had a seedy underground vibe to it, the hustle and game I felt was nothing compared to Thailand and Pattaya. And here in Pattaya it's everywhere and all kinds of businesses, even banks. Some do this, some don't, even though it's the same corporate name on the bank.

You will only pay the ATM fee for the bank 200 baht. But of course you cannot ever select the rate offered by the local Thai bank. Also with Capital One 360, you can easily link to Zelle, Venmo, Chime, or at other banks or money transfer services. Also of note, if you use your card and withdraw from the teller in Thailand, no fee at all. Some banks will pay stupid, want to scam 200 baht, and point at the ATM machine, others will do it. Research this. It's a real thing.
I almost feel bad for them for legally stealing $88,000, but they are a bank. And my war with big businesses, corporations, and governments continue. They did try to sue, but had to dismiss my case as "non suit," when they realize Monkeypaw was so much smarter and well connected. No lawyer needed. Just a quick email to their attorney that it was the Paw they are dealing with. The other banks that I have fleeced like Chase, BOA, AmEx, Barclay for over $250 K, didn't even bother. That's the great thing about banks, fiat and the Lone Star State (protection), they know when to hold them, fold them, and walk away because they can just print more. Money created from debt, backed up by debt is as scary as it gets.
And the amazing thing is in 3 more years, my FICO will be back at 800 to do it all over again. By the way, after all of this, I still have their 360 debit card to use all around the world. Monkeypaw taught this Kung Fu to a white buddy of mine in Pearland and now he is happily retired in his little oyster in China at 36 years old. His only mistake was getting married to karaoke girl and now has a kid. What a rookie! Same game the elites play with money and debt.
P.S. : All on these pics, all identifying information has been removed. But you get the gist that Monkeypaw isn't playing around. That Robin Hood shit is real with me.

Am I the villain for calling you out about lying to get $2? Ok then, I'll be your Sheriff of Nottingham =) It's funny you speak of introspect. Maybe it's just your alter ego. One of you seems clueless.

It's even funnier when you say that I said "enjoying it was a cold bottle of beer". WAS? Can YOU read? That statement I said wasn't in quotes. It was to make a point. If you really took that literally, you should get your brain checked.
But who knows, maybe your non-alter ego is fun and MP is just narcissistic and petty?

The Sheriff of Nottingham is unable to see himself as the villain. Just like the many others in real life. They really can't see it or believe that perhaps it's been them all along. I always wondered how the orcs viewed the elves. Or what's going inside their minds about what they actually are in the storyline. And when the hero comes along, you can bet not everyone will embrace the second coming.

Let's go through this one more time since someone's brain doesn't really function as fast as mine. First you would want to say, "My bad Mr. Paw. I wrote you cheated the restaurant, but instead you corrected me because you cheated the 4 billion dollar food delivery company instead. My mistake. " I would just let you go on and ramble like you did, ignoring that fact, but you really need to own up to your mistakes and miscues. We are adults now. And like the kind soul Monkeypaw is, I accept your apology. Secondly, why do you keep insisting on me lying about giving away the pizza? Because I ate some of the pizza? Pizza had only 4 slices per. It's a 9 inch pizza. If I picked off all the bacon, and some of the cheese got pulled with the bacon, what do you think is left? It was called Bacon Supreme for God's sake. And if I gave that bacon and pulled cheese to the dogs, plus a couple of slices, isn't that having to give away the pizzas? Or dogs do not count in your mind and it's all about humans.

Lastly, you must not understand me and bacon, so Monkeypaw will give you a good lesson on empathy. You are in Vietnam and really fucking hungry. It's dinner time. They eat dogs in the North. It is an acceptable common practice. They have a restaurant that serves pizza. There is a special on the menu called Bow Wow Supreme Pizza. You like the veggies on it, you like the cheese, but not the grilled dog meat. It is the ONLY special of buy 1 get 1 free. You order with Grab with clear instructions, NO DOG MEAT. It gets delivered to you, in a park 50 meters away from the restaurant, with ponds and turtles. But your Bow Wow Supreme Pizzas has everything, including bits and pieces of Fido. See the effort that Monkeypaw had to eat the mistakes of another? One of my superpowers called restraint.
So me being full of empathy AND balance just like a good Buddhist (and yeah I can be Buddhist today and Muslim last week if I want to, plus still not be lying), would let the cook keep their job and not have to pay out of their pocket for a mistake. Plus I am not wasteful. So those turtles in the ponds will get fed. And since I am hungry as fucking from expending all of my energy on that Soi 6 girl, I will nourish myself with whatever is left. I don't know where you got the fact that this was enjoyable. "Done, satisfied, and full" doesn't mean "enjoying it was a cold bottle of beer. " You really need to use the words I write, read them carefully, look them up if needed, and not make or twist words around. Just scroll up and see what exactly I wrote. Satisfied means to "fulfill a need" in the context I used it. Where did you get "enjoyed" from? Hell, Engrish is not my first language, but even I knew that. If you truly are some moderator, then you need to learn better to look at things from every point of view, even the turtles or dogs or pigs as well. It's call being full empathy.
Or.
What I could have done was made it all about me. Yelled at the delivery guy for not checking my order (because it's a silly company policy). Complained to the restaurant and owner. Got the cook in trouble and make he pay for the mistake out of her lowly wage. Complained to the food app delivery company to get my refund. Say fuck those turtles and throw the pizzas away because the bacon repulsed me. But I am who I am. I am the sacrifice ! But just because I am full of empathy doesn't mean I am weak, somebody will have to answer. I chose the 4 billion dollar company and not the turtles, delivery guy, or the cook. And if you think for a second, it was just bacon. Then the grasshopper got lost with the Bow Wow Supreme Pizza lesson in empathy. Take a stand. I know I have, when it comes to pork. I wouldn't let them give that shit to another human unless they were starving like the dogs. Take it from sensai. This is the way, I have spoken. - The Mandalorian (2019).
