If my budget is 500 R pernoite (or multiple hours date) and I want them to come over to my airbnb? Barravips girls are pricey and do not negotiate. Brothels / casas / termas. I do not like, because I prefer to fuck in my apartment, it is much more enjoyable, I can put my favorite music on, pour some wine or mix up my drinks. I see three options:

3. Visit termas and collect phone numbers and try to arrange something later. I am not sure how this is going to play out, my guess is that they would want pretty much same money as barravip girls. Also, entrance fees, drinks, etc all add up. My understanding is termas are hit or miss, sometimes lineups are good, sometimes they are not. But just to get in and see who is working requires some money and time. I don't mind spending money on drinks, etc. In fact, I love going out with girls and getting fucked up, but I just don't like being forced into paying some fees, buying bottles, etc. Required at some establishments.

The first time I went to Colombia I did a similar thing. I stayed in Zona Rose (Bogota) and El Poblado (Medellin). Those are the nicer, more posh areas that are generally pretty safe. As I gained more familiarity with the various cities I started to spread my wings more and stay in different parts. Now when I visit I stay exclusively near Sante Fe in Bogota and a variety of places in Medellin. . . .

I see the comparison here when talking about where to stay in Rio regarding Copa vs. Barra. As this will be my first trip to Brazil, I'll be staying in Copa (to start) in Rio and Moema while in SP. . . .

Your take on how to go about assessing "where to stay", in Rio / SP with reference to your experiences in Bogota / Medellin is pretty good. It should serve you well, in Brazil. New MBs plagued with this decision should take note.

First of all, you assume that getting it bare is always a good thing that all mongers should seek or want. The truth is that many guys choose to play it safe versus playing Russian roulette with their health by fucking multiple prostitutes bare. Second, I find it interesting that you continue to heap praise upon Bubba Boy while consistently trashing the termas as well. The truth is that a huge focus of his was on the termas, and he spent a lot of time in them. You know, everybody's situation isn't like yours. They have different tastes, a different budget, and a different amount of time to monger. If we were all basically living in Brazil like you are, then yes that would call for doing things differently. A lot differently. But most of us aren't living there and therefore need (and even want) to roll differently. Your constant put downs of people with other tastes, desires, and views really does not contribute much here, and definitely isn't within the spirit of what this place is all about. More live and let live would be far more productive.

This is an idea I've discussed with my father (an actual economist) and is actually a fairly serious proposition. After all, famed economist Steven Levitt writes about the Economics of Drug Dealing in the best seller "Freakonomics", and I see no reason why the measure would be any less valid than the widely used "Big Mac" Index and worthy of deep study.

One esteemed poster noted here a while back that the efflorescence of prostitution seems to occur most robustly in emerging middle-income countries in which there is still a large income inequality and where wage labor remains depressed. Thailand, Brazil, Russia would be great examples. Consider that although working girl hours remain the cheapest in low income countries like Cambodia, Philippines, and Cambodia, but there is lack of a critical infrastructure around it on the scale of aforementioned locations and the industry has not flourished. Germany and the FKK scene seems to elide this rule, but perhaps could more represent the logic of a migratory labor force from the Balkans similar to the German phenomenon of the "Polish Plumber".

First chance I get I'm going right back to Angeles City / Subic where you can get 30-40 $ BBFS with a LBFM 7 nights a week. For my money, that's the best values out there even if the whole city is a sh*t hole. I mean, priorities.

IMHO, the Real seems undervalued. With a rate of R100=USD 18.50 (roughly 5. 5), <$US60 for an hour or more of pleasure is a good deal. Many are under <$USD25 an hour. Is there price of pussy (POP INDEX) (snicker) ?

For this group, those not not selling labour, smart investments and living in pleasant lands arbitraging currency, tax laws, exploiting the cost of living and price and ready availability of beautiful and nubile young women is entirely rational, especially with effectively free video communication and dirt cheap airlines to have the best of all worlds. My issue is with prepandemic pictures which have nothing to do with what is currently out there. The pictures I post are from this year, if not this month.

The metro stop in barra has changed things in several ways. It's easier for talent to get to barra.
