Hello gents,

I am a newbie to the forum and this is my first post. I've lurked a bit and my only regret about this forum is that I did not discover it sooner. Some of the posts are absolute gold for me since I've been thinking of becoming a traveling pervert for quite some time.

A bit about me: I am mid-fifties, divorced and live in a medium-sized midwestern US city. I have limited experience with international travel or fulltime SW's but a good bit of experience with local sugar babies (mostly seeking) over the past 4 years.

Last summer I did a two-week trip to Medellin with a buddy. Had a very good time and I will do a detailed report soon.

I was hoping to get the input of the more experienced Medellin guys on the scopolamine issue. It seems like the reports of getting drugged and robbed as a foreigner are becoming more and more common. Whenever I hear these stories (there are a couple of Facebook groups dedicated to the topic) they almost all seem to be initiated on tinder and the girl is willing to come straight to the guy's apartment without any discussion of money and the guy thinks he is getting laid for free because she just loves gringos.

To me it seems very unlikely that you will get robbed by a girl who you bring back to your place if you have already agreed on a price. For example, a Parque Lleras girl who you have agreed on a price with. The girl knows she's getting paid so she has a lot less incentive to have to steal from you.

Not sure if my reasoning is flawed here and interested to see what the experienced Medellin guys think.

I arrived in Medellin yesterday and decided to walk around el Centro at about 4 pm. It had just stopped raining, so maybe there were less people around.

But I felt safe walking around Plaza Botero, because amongst the vagabondas (homeless), there were lots of regular people taking photos around the statues etc. I walked around the streets where the SW's hang out and to be honest, I was seriously disappointed at the quality of the girls. I have pretty low standards, so I wasn't looking for 7's or 8's. Just a normal girl who is a 5 or 6 would be sufficient. Maybe the rain had scared some of them away.

Then I walked to Parque Berrio station to see if there were any girls hanging around the stairways, and there were only 2 - one of which looked very suspect.

So, I tried to look for the coffee / candy girls, and again I was very disappointed. The ones they show on YouTube vids are pretty hot! But the few I saw were much older, and definitely not bangable..

Go on a better day when it hasn't been raining so much and branch out further within the surrounding areas. Botero Plaza and Berrio Station aren't the only places in El Centro. When you wander around the same track as everyone else it gets old fast. Don't limit yourself to the same thing that everyone else is doing or copy that.

The quality of the girls working Centro, primarily Vennies has been way down for a few months as a lot of the prettier ones that used to work there have not come back, yet there are new faces everyday.

What you observed is what I describe as "fuglies", meaning fat and pudgy Chicas, and there are lots of them which you noticed.

Just taking a short time pass thru Centro doesn't really give a good snapshot of things as you recognize such as rain.

Also the slowest days in Centro are Sunday's, followed by Monday when things ramp back up. Best days would be Thursday afternoon thru Saturday.

And I've seen some prettier girls working the stairs at the Parque Berrio Station on the Hotel Nutibarra side of the Station, but it's very hit and miss.

Be patient next time your in Centro, you can have some good experiences, it's just a matter of timing and luck.

Have you tried to station yourself near ground zero (cra 52 and CL 52). It is the intersection to your left when you face the museum. You will find many here in addition to the bar street.

I've never had issues finding girls in Cento but you have to hunt a little bit. I usually take 2 or 3 passes around the church. I've always been able to find something worth 30-50 mil.

Absolutely correct info from ColombiaLover. Even today which was St. Joseph's Day the FB girls were not checking their messages. Most businesses were closed down for this religous holiday. Luckily I had a couple contacts to visit me that didn't need to attend family events like most are required. If it's the only time you can come DogLife I would aim for the chicas de Venezuela in el centro. It's just another day for them. Search out the Veracruz street walkers earlier in the day and then by 4 PM you can hit Conjitos and Grille Nueva which are close to each other across from Botero Plaza. Their best girls are usually on site by 4 PM.

But for Colombianas it's probably the "leanest time of year" next to the couple weeks around Christmas. These sexually free spirited chicas are quite religous and their parents are very religous so religous holidays are traditonally spent as special family times together.

Also I will ad getting alcohol is difficult during this time and also, all the love hotels, casa and strip clubs close down. The whole city is boring for that entire week.

100% it is worth traveling to. And it's not "overrun." Anyone saying so is just pissed that there are more dudes along the shoreline fishing in what is an incredibly stocked pond.

Go to Medellin. Have fun. Then go to other cities — Bogota, Cali, Cartagena, Rio, San Paulo, Panama City, San Jose, Quinto, Mexico City. The list is endless. Go, have fun, and don't worry about someone else cock-blocking you because it won't happen.

Not a dig at you, but I find it interesting that I've been on numerous forums here (Havana, Medellin, Cali) and there is always talk about new people 'ruining it' for the experienced mongers. Technically, I'm a 'newbie' to Colombia, but I'm an experienced monger. I'd like to think that the target should be non-mongers generally, rather than new people. People who take the time to RTFF and act accordingly, although new, shouldn't be punished for being new.

100% true. In fact, while in Colombia, Alaska and I were saying that every board on ISG has like three types of posters:

1) The Cucumber. The "I am new help me out" poster.

2) The Sexpert. The "RTFF" poster, who for some reason thinks we all have time to wade through 50 pages of bitching in order to find out one or two simple facts.

3) The Curmudgeon - "this city isn't like it used to be, it used to be much better, it's too expensive now and there are too many people coming here" poster.

I bounce to a lot of different boards on ISG due to my travels (Kyiv, CDMX, Prague, Budapest, Bogota) and it is always the same characters with different names.

It's been a while since I posted a report in this forum. I have kept my mongering on the low in the past few years, but I had an experience I needed to share with you folks.

I have been doing quick visits in Medellin and seeing a couple of my regular girls that I met thru ads in Mileroticos and Photoprepagos. My last trip was in February, I was looking forward to spending some time with them but one of them left me hanging. So I decided to try Mileroticos and came across a massage place I have not been to before, called Chicas Luxury, I messaged them and got the address, but for the life of me I could not find it in google maps. So a different girl with a very sultry voice gave me better directions. I got an Uber to take me to the place in a matter of minutes, it was very close to my hotel in Laureles.

I ring the bell and they buzz me in, I get greeted by this beautiful tanned girl in a very revealing 2 piece bikini, with beautiful eyes and welcoming smile, my knees buckle at the sight of her and smile back. I had asked for a Line up on the phone and they showed me all the girls. The only one that I really liked was Loren, the girl that greeted me at the door. There was another that looked really good to me, Liani a real spinner but I didn't feel the chemistry I felt with Loren..

Gringos in El Centro increased perhaps by 200-300 percent in the last two years. Before 2020, and especially before 2015, there were few gringos there. Also the behavior and social background tend to be different. Now many gringos hang around and talk loud at Plaza Bolivar while the pre-covid gringos use to keep low profile. Some of the guys are argumentative with locals and they were kicked out of the hotels and restaurants, and some of them were arrested. Most of the gringos in the last decade were professionals with college degree or advanced degrees. A majority of El Centro gringos today are high school graduates, very few speak Spanish, and many of them are anti=vaxxers.

I like to go places where there is little to no Gringos. I like the local feel that is untainted. I agree about El Centro and the influx of Simps. A lot hang out in the plaza near the museum and centro comercial. Older guys talking loud with the young chicas drinking and listening to Reggaeton. They really think that they got it going on. LOL. Little do they know that's not "living".

If a chica speaks understandable English, quotes in dollars, hangs out in Poblado regularly she is probably being tainted. Chicas migrate between El Centro and Poblado. A better experience for me is to avoid most Gringo hangouts and areas. I prefer parts of town that cater mostly to locals. The cultural experience is much better, personalities are more genuine and believe it or not the food is more authentic. Commercialized food is not always the answer. Colombian middle class and up are my target areas. The price for everything is lower and the chicas aren't on that Western / USA / Europe bullshyt.

Traveling to mid sized cities is a good idea for avoiding most Gringos. There are all kinds of nice cities in Colombia that have minimal Gringo exposure.
