Based on a favorable mention of Casa Cuba by a BM on this thread, I recently decided to check out the talent available there. On entering, the physical set-up seemed promising- comparable to Zandalay and New Life, and more upscale than say Dulce Compania or Amigas Sexy (but with similar pricing). On my first visit, just before noon on a Thursday, only three chicas were presented, but I was told that another 7 were "ocupado". Since for left-overs, the threesome were relatively more attractive than the average chica at other casas (albeit, still below my admittedly quite picky threshold for "doable"), I decided to try again around opening time (10:30 AM) on another day.

The following Tuesday I returned as early as 10:20, before the daily curtain raising . To my surprise there were already about six, middle-aged local guys already waiting in the reception area and by 10:30 another 3 or so had arrived. 100% of all the talent was reserved ahead of time from the get-go. The maitre'd of sorts told me that the best time (on a typical day) to find chicas available for a first-time audition, would be around 1:30 to 2:00 PM. However, my annual 3 month winter sojourn in Medellin came to an end before I had a chance to visit again (I'm writing this from HomeTown USA). That said, my difficulty in finding chicas free for inspection suggests that the line-up may include some gems (at least by the lowly standard of the casas as a whole).

Looking ahead to my next foray to PaisaPussyLand, I'm curious if any other BMs have had an opportunity to view/sample the Casa Cuba lineup more or less in its entirety, and, if so, their impressions on its quality relative to the competition (and the best time of day to give the place another try).

My main question. I'm an overweight gringo (not morbidly but 5'7' and 200 lbs), late 30's. I'll have minimal Spanish (but I'm spending an hour per day trying to learn as much conversational Spanish as I can, so hopefully basic conversations will be possible). Relatively experienced monger elsewhere (Mexico, Germany, Thailand). Realistically, what are my chances with chicas in Medellin? Am I going to find myself restricted / poor service? I'm ok with restrictions based on my appearance, it is my fault. If I need to lower my standards for acceptable service, I will. But it would be good to get a heads up so I'm not disappointed when I arrive and I can plan accordingly..

Relatively experienced monger with a strange lack of self confidence? Something doesn't add up. Assuming you're playing it straight, you'll be fine but something doesn't add up in your post. From your experience one would assume you know that first and foremost it's about the money the chicas walk home with, then the money, then comes money, followed by money. Then tips (money) and maybe some regalos (money as gifts). And it's not like you weigh 500 pounds but that guy would get laid, too. I am not implying you should expect to pay anything more than fair market value. Perhaps I should mention I am not a Facebook guy so maybe I am missing something but I don't think so. You should be fine. Most of us aren't gracing the cover of GQ when we're not playing in Medellin. As long as you're presenting yourself well and treating the girls right, they'll treat you right.

Your personality speaks louder than your size. I used to be 5'8" (age also takes it toll on height, about 5'7 1/2" now) and weigh 195. I have some FB friends who I consider to be 7's and 8's. They never say anything about the size of my mid-section. Even when I tell them in person that I am fat, they say I'm not. They continue to return to see me, and I don't over pay. Right now, I pay between 200,000 and 250,000 COP, total including taxis.

No you'll be good. Most of the el centro casa chicas are also about 5' 7" and 200 pounds. But more seriously the casas prices are the same for everyone.

In Medellin, you can definitely score a 7+. If you are half decent looking and are willing to pay 150 K+. I am happy w a 7 as long as I get a GFE. I find it is dicult find a 9 that gives you GFE but they are out there for sure.

It kinda depends where you are staying are you going alone and staying alone that's not a good idea you got a pretty good chance of being drugged and robbed. Or you could stay at the mansion and you'll have nothing to worry about. Your Spanish level isn't going to affect you when you pick up working girls you just need to know the basics just learn the numbers how to say the numbers and count and learn the money conversion for example think of it as 25% so 100,000 pesos is $25 200,000 pesos is $50 it's actually a little bit more but it's a good way to understand how things cost. Also learn how to pronounce the money cien, dos ciento mil. If you're going to go to Gusto's they may try to take advantage of you but stick with your price never pay more than 250,000.

I'm 53, 5'8", speak poor Spanish and have mongered in Medellin at anywhere from 240 to 285 lbs over the last 4 years. I have no problems at all. I can't say if the service would be any better if I were tall, dark and handsome but I so far have no reason to complain.
