When you are famous in Pattaya like we three kings are, drama comes naturally. Photos have been posted previously. Charlie Brown's teacher says 'Wah wah woh wah wah!' She means "Pay attention!" Okay, so me and another guy did one more walk through to Pink Baby at Soi Boomerang (across from Playgirlz) again tonight. We were told the same thing again. It's 3000 for the girl and 700 for the room. Maybe it's just us. Even the mamasan told pointed at SLUTZ next door and told us that's where you will find 1000 baht girls. Do you think their business model changed since August? I am wondering were they a GC back then and now rebranded to a GoGo bar of sorts? Just returned from a 4-week trip to Thailand. Three weeks in Pattaya and a week in Bangkok. Stayed a week at the Hard Rock Hotel in Pattaya while the Pattaya Music Festival was going on across the street at the beach. Great location and the hotel reminds me of a Vegas style or Cabo style hotel. A good place for families. I didn't bring any guests over that week so I can't comment on their guest-friendly attitudes. But overall the staff and accommodations were excellent. But the price was a bit more than I would usually pay in Thailand. I then moved over to the LK President Hotel over on Third Road at the end of Soi Pothole and Soi Lengkee. I stayed here for two full weeks. While this hotel was not as up-to-date as the Hard Rock, I was able to get a large one-bedroom suite with a full kitchen and separate dining / living room. Both areas with separate balconies with stunning views. Having the ability to cook meals or even heat up leftovers was a great benefit. And the view from 20 stories up was great. The bathroom had both a shower AND a huge tub for two. And being right around the corner from Soi Pothole made for easy walk to hotel with a lady. And the large room was perfect for having a guest. No hassles from desk. I enjoyed The Den and a few other establishments nearby the LK President. The management and staff at the Den made me feel particularly welcome on multiple visits. I also explored Tree Town and LK Metro areas. And then there was Bangkok. Bangkok was definitely different from Pattaya. Stayed near Nana and enjoyed some of what was offered there. Enjoyed listening to music and buying a few lady drinks at the Stumble Inn. Met a nice lady there that shared two nights with me. Very low hassle and enjoyable. Would visit all these places again.

Odd story: I posted on Facebook a photo of my bed, along with the explanation that I am raising the bed by 100 millimeters because Thai ladies have short legs (so I can't do Doggie if my feet are on the floor). A couple of hours later, I got a message from a lady who was waiting outside. She wanted to try the bed.

The explanation is that the lady had had a good customer a couple of days ago, a young Farang with money, but he had ghosted her. She had taken the day off because he had promised a barfine, but he was a no show. So, she literally had nothing to do.

Silly question, but would it be appropriate to wear an undershirt as well as just a regular T-shirt? Never went without an undershirt (and wouldn't want to just wear that) and I don't really want to get my colored stuff stained with sweat if it gets super hot.

There will be so many people from all over the world dressed in so many different ways that a man wearing two t-shirts will not stand out. That is until you pass out from heat exhaustion. Lots of cheap t-shirts for sale, just buy some of them so you don't worry about staining them. Remember the older you get the less you can handle the heat. Stay cool and stay hydrated.

India's GDP per capita is $1850/ person. It ranks 144th out of 194 economies. I travel to Bangalore, Pune, and Chennai 4-8 x per year. I hire 100's freshers out of the tech schools at 4. 4 Lakh / year, the the median wage+allowances at my ODC's (2600 people) is 16 Lakh / year. India has a very small bourgeoise, compared to a huge proletariat.

When I go to Pattaya I totally understand the behavior of the Indian mongers. If I am paying the median tech worker 375 Baht / hour that 2000 Baht spent at a Soi 6 bar is a 1/2 days pay. 1/2 day of my pay I can BF 2/3 of ladies in the bar + drinks.

This is not meant to be a cut on India, or on Indians. I work with scores of hardworking, dedicated Indians every day, and I my bonus is dependant on them. It is just the observed data points I have.

India's per capita is $2300 unless you are living in 2016. Check Google for 2022 stats. India PPP is $7000 in 2022. In next 7 years, these numbers will be doubled. India's number get skewed because the lower 50% is in its own world. Lot of them are not even part of the system / grid.

I don't know who you are and I am not here to argue on the numbers. India is a country of diversity and we all can pick up our stats. I know plenty of Indian tech workers in mid 30's in Bangalore, Mumbai, NCR making $200 k / year. If you adjust by big Mac index, that will be $500 k to $800 k USD per year.

I have said this many times. Pattaya need Indian mongers to survive.
