After a weekend with not so much free time I wasnt able to try so much. I read the forum and your best shots would probably be if you are using nimfomane or pub24 something. I'm so sorry to be the merchant of gloom, but as this thread also talks for itself, the mongering scenery in Bucharest is pretty downhill. The last bastion of lewd delights has unfortunately fallen. And this was the massage parlours. The going rate for a wanking massage at a somewhat centrally located address has already reached 125-130 EUR/hr. For that amount you can buy an hour of hard shagging in Western Europe. Apart from that, they employ even in posh parlours tendentially more and more older, rough women and Gypoes. The hot, magnificent, young mares are abroad. Think for example of the sauna clubs in Germany where roughly 90% of the babes are from Romania (with a high contingent of Gypoes, I've to admit).

Not that I would know personally, It's not my preferred arena and I have to work in the weeks, but the young girls I've met here seem to go out most any night of the week. Face club and BOA is two options if you like it fancy, if you want a younger crowd, maybe Freddo in the old town might be for you. Beware of scams in the old town tho. It's notorious.

No, you were spot on about both places.

I had a difficult time wrapping my head around the idea that ALL the strip clubs could be scams. For the most part these are poor (er) countries, and sex industry is a relatively easy path to good-fast money. Hot girls are a commodity here. From a market perspective everything works!

Bucharest appears to have 20+ strip clubs. Could they really ALL survive by ripping off customers? You go once, get burned and avoid the other 19. There is no repeat-patronage, and unlike Prague etc, you don't have the turnover of travelers. Also, are the cops really all corrupt? Usually you find a balance. The girls and bars give 'just enough' to get the money from customers, and customers pay just enough to get the services they desire. God knows that outside every bar and restaurant is a fairly hot girl trying to entice you in. Are they really willing to stand out in the cold all day for a small salary. Rather then working in a strip club? (guess so).

Anyway, we visited 21 cities in 16 Balkan and e. Europe countries over the last 4 months and without reservation would comment that almost all of them are universally dire for the hobby. Unless you're into the escort scene (which I'm not). If I were alone I would have probably spent more time looking into gypsys and happy massage places, but couldn't.

Honestly, I don't think I travel 'for' the scene anymore (older) - I travel and enjoy how chasing down bars, and the scene gets me to see more of the city than just visiting churches, monuments, and hotels.

The clubs for the most part are money laundering and trafficking, supplimented by the occasional drunk mark who pays big. They also have operations related to card skimming at the ATMs; if you use one, expect to see a transaction from Asia a few weeks later.
