Your comment describes most western men, basically paying to play in dating and marriage to make themselves feel like they're really not paying for it. Mongering is much healthier and real. It's a business transaction at the end of the day and most mongers want exactly that.

First, let's establish the baseline reality of transactionality.

The illusion is so complete, that when a man loses his job, becomes ill, or takes some other hit to his market value, he is often shocked to see how quickly he is abandoned. Even friendships are transactional- but obviously the stakes are lower because the goal is not direct reproduction and evolutionary success- although community ties assist in this in a holistic way.

Some pay for play relationships are more transparent in their transactionality than others.

A Beach Road/ Soi 6 hit it and quit ST is the most naked in its pay for play- but even then the tenterhooks can begin to penetrate. I know of a guy who wifed up a Soi 6 girl and tried to move her back to Scotland fully aware of her body count. Not sure how that's working out because she blocked me on social media. Usually, however, strong emotions are not generated in these experiences and the transaction is mostly sexual. The primary thing to notice is that as transparency of transactionality goes down, emotional investment goes up as does the associated ability for the lady to manipulate the man using this button. As I've mentioned, my current repeat LT is trying to hook me in with the "I love you" crap which other men (as evidenced by the beta males on her social media sending her money) have fallen for. Some Western men are so starved for love and attention they will blind themselves to the screaming reality of their own exploitation.

Next to a conventional relationship, the least transparent is dating the semi-pro from Seeking or Thai Friendly. This type of monger appreciates the fact that the girl is much lower volume and feels more comfortable in something that has the feel of a real relationship, with a modicum of baseline chemistry and a bit of genuine attraction. The monger who dates "semi-pro's" is in most danger of being emotionally manipulated, and often cannot square the fact that his girl is seeing other men as well. This type of monger often undergoes extreme emotional swings during his affairs with these ladies, and that's the price he is willing to pay for his preferred experience. Remember that there are no real "semi" pro's, only girls that are lower volume, and in the end you need to square the fact that she is sucking other dudes' dicks one way or the other.

I do not wish to cast judgment on any of these methodologies. The ST monger and the SemiPro monger have found ways of achieving intimacy that work for them and neither should feel more smug or satisfied than the other. The ST monger has the problem of needing to feed the beast with constant novelty, and the Semi-Pro monger musty deal with the extreme emotional swings that come with indulging in his particular illusion.

My point here was to illustrate the relative levels of transactional transparency with each method.

In other news, I walked into Club Excite in the middle of some kind of party last night. Several girls were topless and a punter was up on the stripper pole area getting his dick sucked in full view of the entire crowd. I finally found my provider from last Summer, but she seemed so ran through and just out of it, that it was too depressing to take her for a BJ. When it come to prices Venue needs to be specified.

Sentiments change though once you're actually in Thailand and you see ass available everywhere and one thinks what's the point of limiting myself to one. And that's the rub of Pattaya in particular, so many damn options, hard to get locked into one.

Meet her on Thai Friendly before you come and take your side excursion as soon as you get here. Then when you finish she can go back home and you can go to Pattaya.

Messing around on Thai Friendly today and talking to a chick that said she has been gone from Pattaya 3 years and just came back and opened a salon again. Franky was referring to GOGO-GIRLS. Not the normal ladies in bars / freelance and all. 1000-1500 is standard but in some gogos it can go to 3 K easily for ST.

There are definitely some of that kind in Thailand, but very few in the P4P industry. But when they start to go downhill, they go downhill very quickly, much more sudden than farang women.

I'll be honest I'm pretty new to this whole thing. I was looking to spend a week or so in a place with beautiful women that don't break the bank, so I thought Thailand would be a good option. That being said, the only time I can go is in August, and I thought I'd ask for some advice on where to go and what to do. I've heard mixed things about Pattaya in August; do you guys think it's a better option than Bangkok during that time of year? Oh and any other recommendations that generally come to mind like hotels to stay at would be appreciated. For reference, I'm looking to spend about 3 k (not including flight costs) for the week on hotels, food, girls, drinks, etc.

For years I only traveled to Pattaya in late August, early September. Never had any issues with rain or costs. Get a decent hotel then consider what you have left for "play" money. Most punters wouldn't even consider having one girl for more than a couple days, especially on a first visit. It takes time to cultivate a relationship and the girl will want to feel comfortable as well. One option, if you find a girl you like is to barfine her the night you meet her and the next night as well. That gives you playtime for the pool or beach the next day. If you do find a girl you want to spend time alone with, go to Jomtien and get away from the bar scene. A lot of girls in Pattaya will take you to bars where they have friends and they'll drain your wallet in no time! The whole concept of going to Pattaya is to move around the different areas and have fun. Read up on the many posts on here for advice and have fun. I've been to Bangkok and to me, it's just not worth it. Maybe one day, tops. The traffic sucks and everything costs more.

Any time of the year is fine to go to Pattaya. What I am worried about is your budget. 3 k for the whole week? In Dollars? A high quality girl can be found in several Agogo's in Pattaya. Take it easy and ignore the many beggings for LD. Have a good look around! But be aware that most girls prefer ST which still will cost you like 3000 Baht or 80 US-dollar / euro.

If you are a fine negotiator, you might have a nice lady with you for a few days.
