Hahahaha. This is the funniest post I have read on ISG in a long time. I, and many others on the forum have been travelling to Cambodia for several years to together. Some have been living there for well over a decade and we have never ever come across any BS of this sort. Dangers lurk in many corner of cities in SEA, and probably in several other countries around the world. And a lot of that danger can be avoided by folowing some basic principles. But to generalise the matter and rule out an entire country is just paranoia.

Ah, there's a few old veterans still hanging around here who know exactly what you mean, but I think all those spots have gone by the wayside. Or perhaps we all just got old and have no idea where their equivalents are now.

Jakarta has gone upmarket these days, you'll notice a few changes.

Kings Cross was great when I went there in August 2022. Beautiful girls, $25 usd equivalent, don't even ask for a tip, super safe and business-like. No games.

I will be back in Jakarta for the first time in many years. I know places to party have mellowed since I was in my 30's fifteen years ago. Back then my mates and I had many fun nights at Stadium and Millie's. I am curious if here is anything like those old places now: dark, druggy, underground, anything goes, etc. If you were ever in Stadium or Millie's you know what I mean. I am hopeful some aspect clubs like that still exist.

Jakarta is best, in my opinion, in terms of variety of cewek, prices and ambiance.

Bali never did it for me, and Cambodia has too small of a selection. Jakarta is highly populated.

Yeep go to Cambodia if you want your kidney to be be removed and auctioned in the darkweb. Human organs trading is allegedly a state sponsored activity in Cambodia, as there are various recent report their kidneys are removed in the state owned hospitals.

If you think I make it up to spread the FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) then use professor google to find information regarding human organ trading in Cambodia and Myanmar. It is published in reputable news channels, newspapers online. Indonesian government/police have rescued some of Indonesians trafficked to these countries.

Good idea to skip Kimochi Mabes. I only visited once and my feedback is:

+ This is a high volume place and the locals are primary Customers.
+ You have to choose a girl by looking at photographs; I hate this.
+ The girl I choose was polite. But she was firm on her rules: no fingering, condom required, no french kissing etc etc.

While I don't disagree with your points, actually my experience there was fairly positive still (note: dating back to, I want to say 2015 or so though). I had deliberately chosen the then famous "Number 33", who was known primarily for her voluminous breasts. The service in general was decent, but not great, but she did enthusiastically demand a finish on those breasts and did not disappoint in making that happen.

However, as mentioned all of your points in my experience are valid -and there are of course plenty of similar choices in Jakarta. For my next visit I will be focusing on Kelapa Gading area for similar establishments.

Not sure about Kartika nowadays, last time I visited pre-covid the women may have had teenage children or adults (not babies!) going by the age of some working there. It never stopped me going there however, your many posts of the place and Cynthia encouraged me to visit there in the first place. Was my favorite place for many years. I agree about the girls from Indramayu. In fact if I ever asked where they came from that was the answer in most cases.

I visited Kartika in the spring of 2018 for the first time since 2009, many of the girls from those days were still working there and surprisingly remembered me and greeted me by name.

Back in February 2005, I had a great session with Sintia / Cynthia at Kartika, she had just returned to work after giving birth and was still lactating so I got some free milk sucking on her large titties. Sintia / Cynthia was my #1 go-to girl until mid-2007 when she passed away from an unexplained stomach ailment. Long-time readers (hi Menteng!) may recall a post I wrote about going to visit her family in a small village between Jepara and Semarang in November 2007 where I got to meet her then 3-year-old son and the rest of her family.

My November 2007 visit was my idea and arranged with help from a couple of the girls at Kartika who came from the same area as Cynthia. I was in Semarang for work and hired a taxi driver to go to that village, I remember calling one of the Kartika girls while in the cab so she could talk to the driver and give him directions. They had also sent word to Cynthia's family about my visit ahead of time, but they were still surprised to see me.

Once we got to the house, the driver said "I'm coming inside with you to help translate" as no one in the family spoke any Bahasa Indonesian at all (except Cynthia's young teen sister), they just spoke Javanese, notoriously difficult language for an outsider to learn. Luckily I was pretty fluent in Bahasa by that time, good since the driver spoke no English, so I was able to have a decent conversation. Took a ton of photos and gave Cynthia's mother 2 million rupiah for the 3-year-old son, took a full family portrait and a photo of Cynthia's framed photo which was on the wall. I then walked over to her gravesite to take pictures.

Back in Jakarta, I brought my laptop with me to my next visit to Kartika and spent the first 30 minutes showing my photos to the ladies in 3 different groups and answering their questions (luckily it was mid-afternoon and there weren't a lot of customers). Cynthia had worked at Kartika for over 3 years and had been close with many of the girls, so I apparently bought a lot of goodwill from making that visit. I also received some nice comments here on ISG although that's not why I posted about my visit.

One of the more interesting cultural experiences of my life!
