Yeah, La isla has gotten really expensive. 550 k is indeed now the girl charge. Also, I've visited La Isla various times alone and they never made a point of me sitting somewhere without ordering a bottle. They did so yesterday, they told me no bottle = no seat, you have to stand in the back at the tables, so can't even have a girl riding on your lap.

I haven't been in medellin for 6 months, but it seems alot has changed. Compared to just few months ago, La isla now charges about 60% more for a girl with raised prices & weakening dollar. That is a bold decision to do so suddenly.

How are prices at gusto, parque, etc now?

FACTS. But I don't begrudge the desire for fantasy life. I think it enhances the experience for some. When I was younger I used to fantasize more. I'm grateful that I've been lucky enough to be in a place where my real life satisfies and entertains me more than I even fantasized about in younger years. Anyway, back to the girls. I'm hoping that next week after the flower fest is done the Centro casa and street scenes will be back closer to normal. To be fair, I didn't notice much visitor impact until last Wednesday when the crowds really picked up. I saw only a couple of my regular acquaintances around the plaza before I later popped into a normally lower key casa that reminded me of New Life it was so busy. They are regulars. I've seen them involved in bad interactions with girls, the girls' boyfriends, police, and robbers. I don't understand the speaker thing, it could be an attempt to fit in. There is already more than enough of that in the plaza.

You just found it, but you posted on it 4 years ago? You promise 100% to leave a review, but you left no review for your Cartagena trip? You're talking about girls at Plaza de Reloj, but your Cartagena post said you were going for a bachelor party?

Here are some tips:

1. Work on your memory. If you can't remember you've been on ISG before, how will you remember any of the advice given?

2. Don't make useless promises. About 99% of people who promise 100% to write a review, never write a review. However they often return years later with the same questions, making the same promises.

3. Use the search function. If you're interested in Mileroticos, search for posts mentioning Mileroticos.

4. Don't make decisions without first gathering sufficient information. A few blocks west of Parque Lleras may not be the best area to stay and Poblado may not be the place to be. Those are individual determinations and aren't things you should just accept at face value.

5. Don't expect anything about 1 place to be like another place. If you're looking for street action like you found in Cartagena, go to Cartagena.

6. Read the forum. Start by going back and reading until you can't stand to read anymore. Then keep reading. Ask yourself questions, then search for answers. If you point to a restaurant and ask if they serve hamburgers, and you just order a hamburger, you missed almost everything that's on the menu. At this point you have no idea what's on the menu in Medellin.

You are spot one with my experience. This community was originally built for middle age and over, avg looking guys of avg income. Gives us the opportunity to find younger, good looking women that are affordable. With the onset of youtube, instagram, etc, guys that wouldn't usually even think of going abroad for women (young, good looking, wealthy), are now flooding Bogota and Medellin. Three years ago, during the pandemic, I flew to Bogota on a basically empty plane. Hooked up with a 9, a model out of work at the time. Saw her a few times since then, but now it's coming to an end. A guy her age, early twenties, very well off and good looking, from North America, texted her on IG. Since then they are going all over Europe, Colombia, first class tickets, best hotels, all the trimmings. She also hooks up his wealthy young buddies with other models.

As you say, the days of well priced 7's and over are now ending. This does not really affect the Centro type girls, the rising prices due to demand are not as significant there. It's probably time to start looking at other places if one wants 7's, or, pony up the cash.

As I've spent more time here I've come to learn that to get women you have to have money at the end of the day. Like. Getting a girl friend is just prostitution with extra steps. If that's not the play, I guess you're going to la isla and gustos getting their WhatsApp and praying to god they accept 400 k or less for an hour or be happy with the 4-5 you found in centro.

Either way, inflation is real and money solves everything.

The only time you can be dead broke and attract good looking girls is when you're a teenager. I lost my virginity at 17 to a girl I worked with at the local grocery store. She was a cashier and I was a stock boy in the summer. She was stacked and no implants since it was still the 80's. Face 8 body 10. I think how you are treated has a lot to do with your own confidence and attitude. I spent a couple days with my cousin, who is in his 50's before I left Medellin. He was spreading money around left and right to everyone from hotel reception to street people. I introduced him to a friend of mine who helps me out when I'm in town and he bought her a $700 phone on the first day. Now he's got enough money that all of this is next to meaningless for him. But at the same time, he complains about how he is always the sugar daddy and how he wants a girl to like him for him. My guess is he leads with money due to a lack of confidence on other fronts.

Personally, I'll happily take girls out and spend money on them as long as I'm doing stuff I would have wanted to do anyway or something she suggests that genuinely interests me. I give gifts but small ones that I try to make thoughtful, like a book I think she'll like, or the drink or candy I noticed she loves. I also genuinely enjoy exposing them to new foods and experiences. But once the suggestion games start I. E. "I'd really love that, or wouldn't that look good on me", or the long stories about financial issues start, I'm usually out of there. There are latinas that are happy to follow your lead and have modest needs / desires. The ones who really like you usually find ways to do things for you like cleaning and cooking for you, helping you groom, and making sure you get good deals and information. I've said it before but small financial gestures from Colombianas area a big deal like a girl who pays your metro, buys you a coffee, or shows up with a small gift for you. There are also women who spend heavily on men. I've experienced getting taken out, gifted cologne, and even a phone by a woman interested in me. That is harder to find in Colombia for the simple fact that even most working women with what you'd think are decent jobs are probably barely getting by financially.

I would agree. You have to look in the mirror and have an understanding of the situation. I am older, late 50's, average looks. When a young attractive girl, 18-20, is chatting with me and interested in meeting with me, it is common sense to think that she is interested in trying to make money with me. It is just the way I like to do things and I am not giving advice. Everyone can do what they want. I am not interested in a girlfriend or wife. Lead with a discussion of money and you create a prostitute when you could have a non pro experience. And everyone can indeed make their choice.

Anybody figure out that the girl is also taking the chance that she will not get what she wants if a money discussion about it does not occur. In my opinion, the girl is taking the risk.
