If I may come add, when you finish with FL in room there is no sense of hurry. She will take her time relax or perhaps go for a shower and if the mood is good may ask you to join her. You don't feel like a client / customer in that moment. With a bargirl, the moment you finish, your session is over and she is not yours anymore. Its pure commercial feels like shoot & scoot. I'm assuming you haven't been to a gogo bar in over 8 years as prices for the girls have been the same for that period. 3000ST / 5000 LT. Yes barfines have gone up a tad but have been around the same since Tier pricing came in 2016/2017. Customer drink prices have gone up a touch in that period but nothing that should be a deterrent. The big jump has been the prices of lady drinks but that is not a mandatory requirement to barfine a girl unless the girl has mistaken you as a chump, asking you to buy her 5 or 10 drinks before she can leave the bar.

Do as the Japanese and Koreans do. Walk into a gogo bar, circle the stage a few times making it clearly obvious that you are staring at the girls as your victim for the night, point at the girl you want, and have the mamasan grovel over you to collect the barfine.

2500 barfine is ridiculous. Sounds like Pattaya is turning into Makati.

Pattaya gogo barfines have historically been notably more expensive than BKK barfines. It's why some guys say BKK gogo bars are better. Bottom line it all comes down to money for many guys on here. They rate how good looking a girl is by how cheap they are. Go figure.

Not sure which year you mean by historically but imo Happy a Gogo was not second tier for gogo bars, especially up to early 2018 or so. Happy killed itself when they combined Happy and Beach Club. Such an awkward layout and many of the young Beach Club girls left. Beach Club and Nui 2 were my hidden gems back then. Happy was also an outlier for low barfines. It was 600 or 800 baht in 2017 when other gogo bars were already 2000 baht.

I agree with your assessment Happy was a pretty good club behind Bacarra, then you had Peppermint and Beach. When Beach left location on Soi 15, now Shark it was going downhill they create the narrow space behind Moon. From the beginning it was a bad setup they remodel twice prior to Happy knocking down wall to join the two using the other rooms left and right of the main stage to accomodate tour groups in the end the expanding was a total failure.

Prior to Covid times getting tough they close Peppermint, their annual party on 18th of April, was cancelled then Covid hit during that period man behind everything pass away. Prior as you noted when Bacarra opened 2009? The BF was 600 just before Covid it was 1000? With restrictions and Condition to return. Then happy hour 69 baht for sangsom over rocks till 9:30ST was 2000 LT 3500 LD was 130-160 baht serves my memory if correct.

Bacarra was the best club didn't push 100 plus girls up and downstairs, the board just before bathroom were the listed numbers of girls 8 pm board was full by midnight more than half were gone on weekends even at 1000 a pop.

Bacarra, the old manager was great today at Peppermint mamasan Dao at IIvy both had class. After last two visits being 17th although my cousins and friends in town real millions I left shaking my head not to return although I still know a number of regulars who started from day one. It was empty. Free Food always bring the Old Expats out but not this time. To be fair I didn't know what kind of Food as I didn't see a pig being Roasted.

Ah, TGT, after seeing more photos and getting more intel about their attitudes and behavior with you, I would say your girls would have been clear winners above any other Soi 6 prospects, photos, videos and reports I have seen.

It's 2500 on weekends and 2000 on weekdays for models. Also the girl has to meet the five drink minimum. I am not sure if the mamasans are skimming off the top because the barfine a used to get progressively lower as the night went on but maybe that has changed. In terms of price I think it's all a wash in the end tbh. +/- 2000 baht between BKK and Pattaya. I really do like the convenience of Nana Plaza though. If I were going to Pattaya I would just pick up a Soi 6 girl for LT and forget about the GoGos.

Agree there. Fact is pinup / xs destroyed the business with their "new" approach in higher salaries etc. And yeah with less customers its time to cut back in salaries so the drinking prices can go back <200 THB and same for barfines. That would be a reason for customers to come back.

I would bet that the top gogos will do good business this High Season, regardless of this "new" approach. But, some marginal gogos will go under, as well.
