It's normal you don't get what we are talking about when you were already paying 5 K LT in May 2021.

We're talking increase of 50 to 100% in price in less than a year. Last year in November 2022 I could have every girl I wanted for 1 K ST.

In May 2023, I could still get all I wanted for 1 K but a few girls were asking for more, some of them wouldn't budge from 2 K.

This month, I could get a few in the first week but it's been a while I didn't met any girl ready to go below 1,5 K.

Lately, I agree with Mr Mexican, I also met plenty asking 2 K and being firm.

I still find some occasional very good girl for 1,5 K but it's getting a lot harder than before.

You call this complaining, I'd rather say we're informing or comparing to see if other members are being quoted same prices or not.

These cats on here talking about inflation as being the cause sound like a bunch of bar owners or managers trying to make up shit, in order to justify the price increases. They act as if most of us are uneducated like the girls and staff who work their bars. Geez, fresh coconut is still 50 baht. Price of Pier 21 two curries selection and rice is still 35 baht. Smoothies are still 30 baht. Watermelon on the cart is still 20 baht. Thai economic growth for 2023 is just 2. 7% and that's the reason there are 2500-3000 baht girls on Soi 6? Gots to be kidding me. Let me explain, their business model since they want to come on ISG and try to act silly.

The demand is low and guys are NOT spending like they used to. Supply is the same, maybe a tad less with Happy, Beach, Baccara upstairs, all gone. Are there new clubs? Yes, but the just filled the spots of clubs that were there before. You have to look at the real estate that didn't get filled up and replaced. So I would say, the inventory number of girls is almost the same as pre-COVID. So if the customers (tourists) are the same amount before COVID, the inventory supply (girls) are nearly the same as before COVID, then why the higher prices on everything? It's the DEMAND. Guys are spending less, so in order to attract the girls, higher salaries are being offered. But those salaries are only paid with higher drinks prices. A girl's salary always matches her drinks' quota and barfines. Guys not willing to splurge 260 for a lady drink, then get a higher barfine and take out rate in order to meet their high salary being paid by the bar. So basically girls are there to sell the liquor inventory for the bar, they keep their lady drinks and the bar makes money off customer drinks and any dumbass girl who does' t have enough money to cover her quota deficit. Smart ones fill in the missing quotas out of their own pockets because they get it all back, rolled into their salaries.

So there goes that whole inflation mumbo jumbo talk. Remember 10 baht bus is still only 10 baht. Soi Honey girls are still banging for 1000-1200, doesn't inflation affect them? Bars changed up their business model because less and less guys are barfing and spending at the bars. Instead we / they / us are making side deals to counteract all of this price increase and totally cut out the bars / middleman / pimps / mamasans etc. Case in point, Fahreinheit model I met while going to the bathroom visited me after her shift last night for 2500 flat for ST. If you are cool, they will connect you with other girls they dance with, looking to make a quick buck during off-peak hours. If you are a gnarly with bad habits and presentation, don't press your luck.

Last trip in May there was a girl I bought LDs for, price was around 200 as you said (that girl is not here anymore).

So people telling me cost of living went up 30%? And if you are a girl on Soi 6, 2000 would make it 100% pre CoVid increase. Bronx Pizza is now 80 for 1 slice, 140 for 2. Before, they were 70 and 125. So 12% is more like inflation and reasonable. Don't confuse the sex entertainment business with basic economy and everyday life. Especially, when there is still 89 baht draft beer at Baccara and the upstairs never did reopen again. I would say, the lack of spending is the reason why prices have inflated. Girls and staff are responsible to make their own money. Hell, even the security guys all have number badges like the dancers and expected to get their tips and drink quotas met to meet the salary.

This gents club in a little bit out of the way but it well worth it. It's huge. Curtain areas for naughty times. Pool table. Free lasagna, free smoked brisket and finally a great mix of ladies. 1000ST from 300 for the room. A few of the girls will ask 1500. Lady drinks 150 baht but if you buy a wrack of shots the girl will get 6 instead of 5 for 799 baht. My most recent chosen companion was Pop.

I am an expat living in Pattaya and I have read some of the posts here on prices. 1000-2000ST is the common prices being asked for. Not including the room if in the bar. Soi 6 is 1500, gents clubs are 1000-1500, and Thai Friendly freelancers are 1000-2500ST. I don't understand what all the morning is about. Yes there are the odd girls asking for more, but so what. Inflation. I never understand the guys that come to Pattaya and think the prices should never go up and what they paid 5 years ago should be the same they pay today. Sup complaining and just have fun.

The pricing you mention was my experience this past Sept / Oct in Pattaya, so I agree with you and don't understand the commenters complaining about pricing.

And as I have been saying, once the world economy collapses into a recession, most ladies will be begging for 1 k ST and it will be easy to get ST for around 700-800 baht. Mark my words. Inflation will lead to deflation in the pussy market.

I agree. Guys think that the price they paid 5 or even 10 years ago should still be the price they paid now. But like everything else, inflation causes prices to go up and an increase from the price you paid 5 or 10 years ago is not crazy. Some guys get obsessed with a price point that they paid years ago and think that it should be the going rate but no one rings a bell when the going rate goes up and the going rate is not the going rate forever. Prices go up and you have to adjust rather than whine about it all day and night.

Note that your salary also goes up over time and so you have more money too over the years (hopefully).

If I had to guess, most of the guys in this forum have been miners for years. Not easy to accept the price increases due to inflation. My advice to you guys is to do the gent club circuit. The gents clubs cater to the expats and are very affordable. Drinks are cheap, bar fines cheap, and ST prices are 1000-1500. Some notable choices are Maggie Mays on Soi Pothole, Club fate on Soi Boomerang, Cat Flaps in Patunmank, Heaven Above, Kinereee, Purple Gents Club and so on. Many located on Soi Boncot, spelling wrong. These places are very relaxed. No pressure to oder lady drinks and often action goes on right in the bars.

This topic has been Covered. Cheap expats equals Firgettabboutit for the Majority of us.
