Read through several pages of recent posts, seems like reviews and field reports are a thing of the past. Are there any independents that you guys are seeing and willing to share? I know there's the Shanghai Nightlife website, but I'm interested in real indy's rather than go through an agency. Please share or PM me if you have any regulars to share.

Despite no action and almost getting scammed out of 200 RMB the last time (see post #14351), I thought I would try P4 P on TG again. VN is Vietnamese, and TG is the Telegram app, which, despite needing a VPN, the Chinese have been using it for mongering (or 'driving' as they call it, lol) for at least a couple of years now. It's useful for finding naughty MPs and freelancers, but you have to put the work in (everything is in Chinese) and know how to detect the fake stuff, scams, etc. It's probably a bit too much to navigate for someone who's only here for a couple of nights.

You're right that Shanghai has changed a lot in the last few years, but there's still plenty of fun to be had, things just work more discretely these days.

Back to Shanghai again after 5 years.

Found a completely different city. Not what it used to be.

MP in Hongqiao area, not far away from Bellagio restaurant. 2 MP in the same building, tried one.
