The tax laws in Thailand are changing in 2024. For tax residents, you will have to pay income tax on money transferred into Thailand.

Nothing pisses the Squirrel 🐿65039; Haired Benjamin Hart of the USA embassy more than Sexpats giving Tax Info.

He doesn't know what's up as the kitty bitty details have not been Forthcoming.

His thinking is 80% of us won't be affected. Even if you stay over 180 days you may owe no tax but have to file.

The Filing part scares me. Could be a paperwork Nightmare. Do I have to show my 333 page TurboTax return to Somchai the immigration officer.

Here we go again. The reason Koreans, etc get the TOP girls is they are willing to Pay and are Ez laid back customers. I've seen ratty looking Asians walk out with good looking girls. They are clean. Clothes don't matter People.

As opposed to those who Bargain and want everything under the SUN. Ex. Come in Hair, in Nose, in Ear, etc.

You are comparing apples to oranges. Going on a date with a normal chick is not the same as hooker hunting. If I am going on a normal date then of course I may put on something decent. If I am going out to pick up hookers then there is no need.

Now once you tell me a guy went out dressed sharp with his pockets empty and got the finest hooker in the club, but another guy went out dressed like a slob with a pocket full of money and could not get a chick, then I will be on board.

You're not totally correct here. Yes it's a beach town but there's a time for walking around outside with open toed sandals (and god forbid white sox) and a time to look sharp. I agree with Banana Boi. When you see some foreigners walking around in flip flops, scruffy looking unshaven faces, smelly BO, uncombed hair, and dirty wrinkly clothes, you just whisper under your breath, thank god for that while you are with the smokin hot Thai chick in a hot black dress.

Attitude goes both ways. You treat her like a hooker, then she will be, for that hour, anyway. You treat her like a person, then she will be. MY experience, anyway. What do you wear if not shorts flip flops and a wife beater? I don't wear a wife beater but I'm wearing a tank top which is what I think you mean since it has logos. I haven't worn long pants since getting here and wear flip flops everywhere. I do usually wear a t-shirt instead of tank top though.

I stopped wearing flip-flops when I saw a dude in a motorcycle accident who was wearing flip flops sitting there with his foot split in half. Keen closed toe sandals on my go-to and you can wear them everywhere without looking like a schlumpf.

A confession. I do wear branded t-shirts: In-and-Out. Just bought their 75 Anniversary one. And sandals. Flip flops are for showers, Teva's are for walking, F1's or Hurricane's. Didn't mean any offense, just trying to set a picture.

I think I look presentable. I have nice banana republic shorts and t-shirts without any branding. I do walk first thing in the morning for about 30 minutes without a shirt. I'm trying to get more vitamin D from the sun and that isn't the best look. But I do that at a mall parking lot before it opens.
