Just an FYI for those cruising to Puerto Plata. There is no massage parlors in the Taino Bay shopping area. I can see how one could mistake it, as there is a "health" store that could pass as one, but it's just a store that tries to sell you expensive face creams. I walked through the shopping area and out to the area of the city that connects to the port. There I met a cab driver named Hector who answered all my questions about massage places and was very willing to take me. Problem was, I was just out for a long walk and had no funds. He showed me a small poster of a place that looked like a night club. I didn't get the name or address. But he advised that anything is available for a price. Unfortunately, I couldn't get back for a visit as the ball and chain was awake and wanted to go shopping. Oh well. I tried. Adios. PS. To: DBrown84. I tried to post this on the day I was there for your info, but the ships WiFi wouldn't allow me to the ISG web site. Bastards

Posts: 2655Condos Dominicanos is now NOT chica friendly, very clearly stated when you try to rent in there. That said, I have a friend staying there now that told me that he has bribed the guard with meals and he brings in chicas regularly but my advise would be to stay elsewhere even though it is a great place to stay otherwise.

Posts: 359There are pleny of Airbnb type places around the strip, if that is where you are looking for, This is posted in PP, but looks looks you are asking for Sosua. You need to check to see if these are guest friendly if you intend to bring "guests" back. Most are, but some aren't. Check the map for location, a couple that I have stayed in are Garden Condos, and Condos Dominicanos. These were guest friendyly when I stayed there and had guards at night at least. I would still double check to make sure guests are ok. Did you check the New Garden Hotel?

Posts: 306Bro, if this is your first time leaving the country, you should not plan to stay an entire month. You are going to be confronted with a lot of new experiences, that you are not used to, especially visiting a developing nation. Some people call it culture shock, but you might wind up getting your self into a situation where you don't know what to do. You could get sick, injured, or find yourself in trouble. If this is really your first time, I would suggest maybe a more civilized place like Denmark. Or, if you are insistent on the Caribbean, maybe Turks and Caicos or Aruba, as these tend to be more developed than the DR. This is just my opinion, but I'm trying to give you useful advice.

No front desk person to suggest a doctor, translate from spanish or english, exchange your currency, or help you with anything else. Plus it will be less secure unless it's in a gated community.
You can do whatever you would like, I'm just giving you my advice. Never book anything at the last month. Flights should be 2 to 4 months in advance, and hotels at least a week, if not longer. Though the best prices on hotels tend to be at the last minute.

Posts: 38Airbnb or Hotel (Recommendations)?
Hi guys,
I've been trying to plan a trip abroad to go to Puerto Plata in the first week of March. It will be my first time in the DR and my first trip outside the US. It seems like the hotels are really packed. Sosua Inn (the place I was looking at) didn't have anything available. Another hotel I looked into called Casa Valeria didn't as well. Is AirBnB the best option then? It seems these hotels close to the strip (where the Sosua girls are) are always packed. I'm trying to stay here long term as well (At least a month). Any advice?

Posts: 276San Felipe Puerto Plata (Puerto Plata City) isn't really an escort site kinda place. Yeah, you could find one or two but its slim pickings online. Even Seeking is weak with the times I have gone fishing there.

Posts: 51I have had good success with Tagged. Tinder is also active but I don't use it much. There are also a lot of Colombians and Venezuelans advertising on Skokka.

Thanks all! Any recommendations for escort sites? I've done SA and mileerticos in the past. Don't really want to spin up another SA account. It was good in panama and a few other places. Just don't like paying for it when I'm back in the states.

Been to POP city 6 times. Zero issues with bringing chicas back to the Air be&be property. The guards don't care. They don't even ask for ID unless you feel the need for them to do so. I've never done the resort thing there so can't comment.

I am planning my first trip to POP, been reading around on it, been all over Mexico and SA but never the DR. Just a few questions for those experienced. I usually stay in an AB&be to avoid problems with resorts / hotels. Are the resorts chica friendly in POP? Have any of you had experience with bringing chicas to AB&BS? I usually do most of my work online and order in but I'm not opposed to stepping out. Also interested in black beards if the talent is good, I'the imagine there's no way to see the line up without going? Any particular parts of town better for the hobby or parts of town to avoid? TIA and happy hunting!

Posts: 8This was at Taino Bay beyond the duty free store where the other stores begin. I don't think they were port employees.

Posts: 37Have you checked out the St. Maarten section here on ISG? Plenty of good info there. My cruise is in two weeks and I have stops in St. Maarten as well as Puerto Plata. It will be my first trips for both, so I'm on here researching. But from what I read, I should have no problems in St. Maarten.
