I ate at Kobe Beef Daia a couple of weeks ago, and brought a bargirl from Pattaya with me.

We each had small steaks, and the bill was over $100.

Got my attention. Which branch did you go to and which cut of Kobe beef did you get? Even a tiny 120 g (4 ounce) fillet costs over $120 US. Sirloin cheaper but still nearly $90 US for 4 oz.

After 15 hours from Connecticut to Seoul and then another 6 from Seoul to BKK landed in BKK at 1:30 AM.

1. Korean Airline is superb: lots of leg room and decent food and beautiful stewardesses impeccably dressed. It helps to delay booking seats and choose either window or ile seat when middle is not booked. Worked for both flights: empty middle seat made flights much more comfortable.

The bad thing in the flight was that for some reason going from one flight to another took more than 1 hours and for unexpected reason I had to go through security again -- no idea why, but I was told that it happens in other International airports as well; for the first time for me.

2. Prepaid $30 to reserve a lounge via https://www.waug.com/en/activities/108880. It is really worth it for me: very eat as much as you want very good buffet of Korean food, cakes, and free wine and nice place to relax between flights. IOP if want more info.

3. Ordered VIP Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) Immigration VIP Fast-Track Service via klook.com: many companies offer, but klook.com is the cheapest I found: $34.95. It let me to go through "Crew Security" without a minute of delay or line. Be aware, you have to do this at least 3 days in advance.

4. Ordered namsladydrivers@gmail.com 1 kTB to Pattaya: very comfortable ride. The only problem for me was that the driver was coughing a lot, so I put facemask (ironic: I did not use it in airplane).

5. The girl (I thought) I agreed to meet me at BKK ghosted me at the last minute. Sad. I went to Beach road at 3 AM (when arrived in my hotel) and found a very pretty 36 yo girl (3 younger refused me: no idea why -- I was upset) but Amy is beautiful and accommodating last night: 2500 TB until 9 AM today l. I will wake her up for the second session in 5 minutes.

I reached Pattaya last night, went straight to walking street. It has certainly changed, the huge number of weed dispensaries and shops catering to Indians are an interesting change. Anyways, I didn't feel like staying there long.

I asked a bike taxi to take me to Soi 6. Soi 6 seems more worth my time. I had 2 drinks each at least 3 bars where the girls totally ignored me. They still ignore Indians, nothing has changed. At the 4th and 5th bars the girls were nice and asked if I want to take them out. I bar fined a girl Fai, she quoted 2. 5 k for LT and bar fine 0. 4 k I agreed. She seemed new to the trade and said that she used to work at a dentist's office before. After an hour she developed cold feet and apologised. She returned my bar fine.

This was in Pattaya just the other night. Not UK. Apparently, he was reprimanded before for other parachute jumps in Pattaya and decided not to listen. But the real question is who pays for the clean up when stunts for social media likes this one go wrong?

Here is the prime example. The other night I went to a restaurant called Kobe Beef Daia in Ueno, Tokyo. I may be off by a few dollars since I aways order the much better Kobe beef over wagyu but IIRC the wagyu was around 150-200 USD. Here is a photo I took in Jonisteak in Jakarta. Wagyu is on the menu for 75 k IDR which is under 5 USD and that includes a drink! Ok it's only 100g so you may need 2 or 3 of them so let's say a filling wagyu meal for 500 baht.

" In those cases I don't buy a drink for either her or for me. More typically, I will sit down and order water or Coke for me and then buy a single drink for one lady. That drink is essentially her job interview. If she passes, we will do a bar fine at my hotel. If she fails the interview, I move to the next girl or the next bar.

- Is lady drink mandatory? Or even I want to ask- is it a must to order beer, for myself even if I don't drink. What else can a teetotaler like me order in a beer bar?

- how to differentiate between a girl and lady boys. Last time I found that there are too many lady boys which are not easily identifiable and look a lot sexier than girls.

- Has any one stuck in such a situation that they mistaken chosen a lady boy for ST and later realized it?

- What is the minimum including the overhead (bar fines / lady drink) that I would have to spend for having Short time fun with a beer bar girl in Pattaya.

I have already tried soapies a few times, but it seems to be expensive to me considering the fact that it's also hit or miss based on which girl you choose and based on your luck (may be looks and nationality as well). 3. Yes. Literally the first place I got pulled in to, on my first day, of my first trip. Live and learn. Knowing is half the battle. I just paid, apologized, and left.

You are overthinking it.

In a bar, order a Coke. Or soda water. Buy a drink with a lady if you want to go to the room with her.

Most bars don't have ladyboys.

Note that your travel costs will be in the thousands of dollars to get to Thailand. So, if you spend $50 rather than $30 on a bargirl, it's not a Greek tragedy.

I did a couple afternoon massages (reported in the massage section) and went t a few different places at night, the places I actually stayed long enough for drinks: Cat Flaps-really nice club, friendly owner, but the girls were not for me. Windmill 1 and 2: Kind of fun atmosphere, but a lot of the girl action was kind of mechanical, I saw maybe a couple girls that I was interested in taking out, but each time I made up my mind, they were taken. Kinks: upstairs much more fun and lively than Windmill, but again saw only a couple girls I thought might be worthwhile taking out (from first floor), but were occupied. Playgirlz: definitely had the prettiest girls in any of the clubs that I visited, but unfortunately, the pretty ones were all hostesses or drink girls and DON'T go out. The ones that do go out were not what I was looking for.

FWIW my final take: Pattaya is a fun, rowdy place to have a party. Cheaper than Bangkok, but also lower quality, at least in terms of looks. Next time, I might try to find someone in Bangkok to take to Pattaya.
