One of my friend was in pattaya 2 months back and tried Uzbek from one bar. His experience was good but costly.
He doesn't have any other info other than some gogo or dance bar in walking street. (he doesn't remember the name as well.).
I have been in pattaya before (6 month back). But never tried any Uzbek / Russian.
Wanted to ask here. Where to find if anybody knows? Any info, experience?

Now. Maybe 70 on a weekend.
Before Rainbow full at 8.30 pm, even on Weekdays. Now it gets busy at 10 pm.

Posts: 2883I don't remember all the names of the Go-Go bars in Pattaya, but the best time that I had there was at the Tahitian Queen believe it or not in 1989. I think that was the last time I was in Patts.

I think most of us that miss the old days, miss the talent level the most. And it was available to all, young and old. You would expect prices for girls and drinks to increase over time. My first trip to LOS in 1997 is one of the highlights of my life, family things aside.

Posts: 6804The good old days. Gogo bar version
I've now become one of those guys who look back at the Good old days. I thought I'd list some of the best gogo bar lineups I have ever seen, in no order.
Black Pagoda Patpong - 2016.
King's Castle 1 Patpong in it's temporary location for 6 months in 2016(?)
Rainbow Bangkok (the big one. No idea which number) - 2017.
Baccara Bangkok - 2017.
Baccara Pattaya - 2016.
Sensations Pattaya - 2016.
Fahrenheit Pattaya - 2016
Happy / Beach Club Pattaya 2017
Sapphire Pattaya - 2015.
Palace Pattaya - 2017.
Ninja LK Metro - 2016.
Pin Up Pattaya. The 1st year it opened - 2017?
Likely forgetting a couple. Don't care if LD's have doubled since 2015. Would pay 2x more now if we could have the talent we once had.

Posts: 118There has not been any inflation in Thailand that justyfies price increases of 50-100%.

Posts: 45Some random non-sexual advice for visiting Pattaya
SIM. Get an Airalo eSIM card before leaving your home country. This will allow you to keep your home SIM card and still have a Thai SIM in the same phone, and you won't be loosing time in Thailand to do this. It works really well, and you'll get 5 G in most of central Pattaya. Get the Airalo app, the rest is self-explaining.
Baht Bus. The Baht Bus is still 10 THB per ride. Use the Baht Bus when travelling between Terminal 21, Soi 6, Central Pattaya, Walking Street and Jomtien Bus Station. Fast, cheap, plentiful!
Bolt. For all other far destinations use Bolt motorbikes. Install the Bolt app, and always use cash as the payment option. The rides are about 30 THB for distances such as Central Pattaya to Walking Street or Central Pattaya to Telephone Bar Club.
Exercise. Walk to places, unless you're going to a club and it's pretty far away. Do walk, especially after sundown, when it's not so hot, or when going shopping. I know most of you hate it, but some exercise is a must! And if you can't walk for 10-15 minutes, I doubt you go to the gym much.
Food 1. Try the Tops Food Hall in the basement of CentralFestival Pattaya Beach Shopping Center, open until 9 PM /10 PM. You prepay as much as you want at the cash register, and you receive a dedicated card to pay with. You can use the card for multiple days or return it and get the remaining balance in cash. Choose from about 20 different food stands at very good prices and eat calmly in an air-conditioned environment! But DO take a bunch of your own tissues, they always seem to be out, at all the tables and all the cutlery stations. And you don't want to realize that only once you have soup dripping down your chin.
Food 2. Places located more closely to Buakhow are Cheap Charlie's (Thai main dishes for about 100-120 THB), a favorite amongst local farangs, good food and I do recommend it. No air-con but the air fans are pretty effective. Hungry Hippo's is popular, I don't quite get why, perhaps the variety of the food? The outdoor food court between Tree Town and Buakhow is an all-time favorite for tourists, especially those taking their "dates" out, though it's kind of pricey, and you're more than likely to be spotted by your previous dates and get texts. And you'll sweat a lot before you're done with your meal. The Mexican joint (run by a very friendly young Indian guy) is worth a try.
Laundry. Take minimal clothing from home and use laundry centres, at around 60-70 THB per kilo of laundry. If you bring it in in the morning, it will be done by the afternoon, but otherwise it's going to take 24 h. There's also a "fast" laundry, where you can get it done in about 2-3 hours, for 130 THB (or a bit less if you bring your own detergent).
Doctor. For medical advice, I recommend Buakhouw Clinic. It's quick and cheap. I got a gentle rash, went to get it checked out anyway, better safe than sorry, especially in Pattaya. Doctor confirmed it's nothing to worry about, and I got a medical cream. In and out in 10-15 minutes, and I payed 300 THB for everything including the cream.
Viagra. If you need Viagra to keep the party going for even longer or stronger, or whatever other reason, it's officially OTC (over the counter AKA no prescription) in Thailand. Make sure you buy it from a real, licensed pharmacy, never from a dude on the street. If the place doesn't look official, or sells non-medical stuff, or it's not air-conditioned, it's not a pharmacy. You can ask for Sildenafil (which is the scientific name, Viagra is a brand) or straight away ask for Sidegra, which is the official local generic brand. It's the same medicine, the same chemical substance, no difference. Pay attention to the dosage. In the West they often sell 2 or 4 tablets x 25 MG, in Thailand they only seem to sell 4 tablets x 50 MG or 4 tablets x 100 MG. Read the leaflet! I can't give medical advice, I'm not competent, but AFAIK 100 MG is the max daily dosage, and you more than likely don't need that much, unless you know that you really do. Try 50 MG first or 25 MG brought from home, it's usually sufficient and lasts quite long. The price in Pattaya is about 200 THB for a 4 x50 MG, and 350-400 THB for 4 x100 MG.

GC = Gentleman's Club, a Pattaya-specific type of bar with closed entrance doors, as opposed to many beer bars which are fully outdoor with a roof only. They have either rooms or at least curtains on premises, so you can enjoy action with a lady on-site. The ladies are rarely below 30. For a good list go to gentsclubs. It's run by a few GC owners (so they put their own GCs at the top), but is fairly complete.

Posts: 403What is up with Kelaya 66. Had food but NO customers as usual. I think I might have seen 2 guys in there at table. Always possible could be staff. The Hello girls were Hot as usual.
Met a girl in the area. Very sweet. Not the face of Baitoey but a better body. Very approachable. Look more Laos than Thai. Are they coming back to make Thai sex science great again.

Posts: 884I think the main point is not the cost. Everyone understands inflation. McDonalds meal could be had for $1. 99. Now its like 10 bucks. But WHAT they are serving is more or less the same thing. Consistent burgers and service. You know what you are paying for. The issue is that the product, Thai pussy, is no longer the same. Yes it is is still available but the body its attached to is now tatted up, fake boobs, fake nose and eyes and a mercenary attitude. Yes I know the glory days are not coming back. But for better or worse people have reference point in their mind that sets expectations whether we like it or not. Good for you that you can only remember as far back as your last ejaculation. Many of us are not blessed with such selective and ultra short term memory.
