Are there Pattaya style gents clubs (like Heaven Above, Maggie May's, etc) in Bangkok? When I did a Google search for gentlemens clubs in Bangkok, it seemed to spit out showy go go style of clubs rather than the laid back, non-dancing type of bars in Pattaya.

Let's start with the positive. Tons and tons of girls at Thermae tonight. Quite a lot of decent ones too. Sadly tons and tons of guys too.

I tried at Thermae a few times but never connected. One cute little thing with nice tits told me I was too big. Geez I got to little belly but not enough to be called fat. It's ok. I found one right outside Thermae who was probably 70 pounds with 10 pounds of tits and she fucked me like her life depended on it! Cheers!

LCale, that's not her but as I mentioned there's a few 3500 girls now. She has a few average friends and sits with them on the right side at the "entrance" to the inner bar circle (the circle where the oldies stand). She's not really in the open if you are just making the clockwise circle as the pole and girls standing in front of her will block her. She looks "mixed" or Indonesian (but isn't) with imo a true model face. For me she is a true head turner.

Haven't been to Thailand in years and hoping to correct that later this year.

Is it worth going in September? I know it's supposed to be 'rainy season' but is it a downer and not worth going? That's the best window for me going at this point.

For reference, I was in Pattaya in about 1990 and it was amazing. I know it's not the same but I wanted to give Bangkok a go.

I've been going in September for the last number of years and love it. It's still blooming hot and the rain is hot too! Don't bother packing a rain jacket as you just get way too sweaty. A simple umbrella will do, I was walking around last September at night in shorts / t-shirt in the lashing rain & an umbrella and no-issues. Most hotels will even lend you an Umbrella. During the day it hardly rained at all last September and if I recall correctly the previous year in my week late September it barely rained for the whole week.

Obviously in the lashings of rain there will be less freelancers etc out on the streets, but there were still enough and you have the places like Thermae and other bars to find them not to mention online.

Need some suggestion, if I get stuck in Bangkok and need to stay overnight. I usually stay near Nana, Majestic Suite, or Nana Hotel, but thinking about changing up.

Alternatives, when ever in town I do visit Therma but never had pull athough I have many choices usually by that time I've already empty the chambers and just look. But if I do need to stay thinking.

A. Ruamchit Hotel.

B. Nana or Majestic again.

C. Soi 8, Sawasdee Hotel looks ok but far down the Soi.

D. Ambassdor Hotel Soi 11, has club Levels?

E. Soi 22 of options with massage places.

I don't do LT, just a place to catch shut eyes for a few hours and take shower.

Seeing the hotels you like I would recommend dynasty inn on soi 4 , great location, the patio out front is great for a beer and people watching!! Enjoy have fun! Please don't stay at the roach 🪳 infested nana hotel seems like they will never get rid of them!

No. Most are still 2500 to 3000.3500 for the top few percent maybe?

The girls were desperate tonight. Some really cute young girls with nice bodies just sitting around for a long time. All smiles to at least me anyways. I can only assume they were asking 3500 as well. it may take a month or 3 but that 3500 ST will stick with the above average Thermae girls. Did you ever get the impression via body language or length of time in the discussion that some of the girls, including the TOP tier ones and / or the desperate ones, and customers were rejecting offers based on something other than the difference between 2,500 baht and 3,500 baht?

Such as, drum roll please, BBFS or not, BBBJ+CIM or not? Yes, even the typically or at least previously low demand Asian guys?

Could be a 45% increase in quotes and non negotiable price expectations has caused a lot of customers to expect at least a 45% improvement in the experience, even among the supposedly low demand weekend or year 'round millionaires.

I mean, I am not Elon Musk but I do alright and I would not hesitate after perhaps one try at a 500 baht reduction to happily agree to 3,500 baht for BBFS+CIP with a TOP tier girl in Thermae. But I would just smile and walk away from her and any other girl in the place as fast as you saw the rejections flying if she said "No" to DFK, BBBJ and BBFS+CIP even if by some weird fluke a TOP tier girl's quote was only 100 baht.

Wasn't there at least some indication of those kind of things being the deal killers for either side rather than simply that she would not budge from 3,500 or 3,000 and he would not budge from 2,500?

Maybe no one goes to Thermae or maybe no one goes for the TOP girls at Thermae. Well it looks like 3500 is the new 3000 from the old 2500, at least with the TOP tier Thermae girls. And no these weren't girls who didn't make eye contact with me and didn't want to go with me. They were girls who were very flirty and smiley with me. Yes, they want 3500 baht now.

Watched one girl reject at least 6 guys within minutes of her sitting down. I just thought to myself not another one of these girls who only look for a Japanese in there early 20's. The rejected guys all Japanese guys all 40+ and one farang in his 60's (good for him having the balls to approach her). Then I said I need to find out what's going on cause she's too hot for guys to be walking away. I said Hi she was friendly. Small talk. Upstairs I said. Sure she said. I've seen one girl that stays near the first table on the left and she's always turning down guys but I still see her get a few customers when i stay there longer than an hour. A little taller than the avg thai girl and seen her a few times my last few trips but not everyday. I eventually asked her and she's only one that quoted me 3500, well there was another that quoted 4500 LOL, guess just was trying to be nice and didn't to go with me. Watched another pretty girl walk in the bar and she smiled as she passed me. I chased after her but some young'un Japanese guy in his 20s scooped her up. She hadn't been in the bar for 10 seconds! Hate when it's so crowded I'm going at 8 tomorrow! Those skinny Japanese guys move quick through a crowd like a Ninja.

Quite a few older Farang in there tonight as well as Indian guys. Didn't see any pull a girl from the bar. Saw lots of head turns. I had 1 head turn from a girl I would have went with.

Will be there again tomorrow. I can't go to gogo bars this week as I'm getting over some respiratory issue from Jakarta pollution and smoke in the bars.

I'm planning a trip in the next few months. I'm a total rookie and have never been to Thailand. My plan was to just show up and play it by year. Make it an adventure with zero plans. However I'm thinking if I do that I should probably at least have a Airbnb option if I want a guaranteed place to stay and make the rest of trip unplanned. Any good Bankok as well as pattyaya and Phuket Airbnb options that were good for you and no issue bringing back a girl?
