Recently in Bangkok, I explored the most recommended houses, namely ola ola, bkk vice and aya massage, all in Sukhumvit.

Could not find what I was looking for at ola ola, may be wrong day.

I got excellent service at bkk vice which comes out as best choice in my opinion, if you to save time. I also tried 2 girls at Aya, which had the best looking chicks, but bkk vice was more satisfying. I should add if you go there directly from airport, 3-4 hours is plenty enough to go, consume and be back to BKK airport, as train to the city then other train to Sukhumvit takes.

There are not sadly. Gentlemen's clubs in Bangkok are the PR clubs where the guys pay an hourly rate for the girls to sit with them or sing karaoke. They drink whatever you order at your table, such as a bottle and taking them out of the bar is not sanctioned by the bar. It's up to the lady if she goes with you and the rate is normally very high. Like 5000-6000ST. The closest thing to a Pattaya gents club you will find in Bangkok are blow job bars. I used to go into Som's Heaven, now a different name. Nothing special about the place. Some nights they've got many girls with many customers (these are the good nights to be there) and some others they've got few girls with almost no customers inside.

This is an interesting comment. Yes, in Japan tipping is an insult. It is you telling the restaurant owner his business is awful and he needs a bit of extra money from you so he can make a living. My guess and this is only a guess is that Japanese tip as tipping follows more of a culture than what happens in their own country. If I go to Hong Kong I will never tip more than 5-10% as that is the norm there (or at least it was when I last visited HK). If you go to Canada the tipping culture is way out of hand. Many tip buttons on CC machines are now set to 18% minimum. Tip less than 25% and you get a dirty look. When did tipping change from tipping because you were happy and had good service vs being looked down at because you didn't tip $25 on a casual dinner for 2 people?

Japanese do not haggle for price. It's not in their DNA. It's not like Chinese and Indian who take pride on how much they were able to get off an item no matter how high the starting price was. Go to a Hong Kong flea market. First quote you'll get on an item may be 10 USD and you end up buying it for 2 USD. To Chinese that's a huge win even if the item is only worth 1 USD.

A breaking point is going to happen to the Japanese customers at Thermae if prices continue to increase. I have noticed that not nearly as many girls are being pulled as when prices were 2500 baht. I commented on how some cute faced skinny petite girls who would have lasted less than 5 minutes at 2500 baht are now sitting in Thermae for 2 hours with no action. You can already see the effects. Also, Japan has some huge adult boards that can sway where guys go. Japanese salarymen don't make much money.
